Next up: PALESTINE! **correction: I accidentally used a map and noticed too late it didn’t include the sinai peninsula (that map seemed to be focusing the African part of Egypt). Thanks to some of you for pointing that out!

I’ve been to Egypt twice. I haven’t visited it in a long time. I didn’t visit Cairo or Giza where the pyramids are, I visited Sharm El-Sheikh. It has a really beautiful beach. Nevertheless, I learned about Ancient Egypt back in high school and even in college and it was quite interesting. Here in Kuwait, there are a lot of Egyptians. Mostly work in barber shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and other places. God bless Egypt! 🇪🇬❤️🇰🇼

こんにちは thank you so much for all the great videos you make for us. I love learning culture and history and I found this video extra useful because I'm in the middle of playing assassin's creed Origins. The first video i saw of you was about Libanon, it caught my attention because my dad was a UN soldier in Libanon and he always speaks so warm about the country and its people. After I watched that video I'm hooked on your channel! 😊 Greetings from Norway!

A simple note on the title of the video : we are not Arabs There's a difference between Arabs and Egyptians We're just influenced by Arab culture All the invasions that Egypt has experienced over millennia, including the Arab invasion, do not seem to account for more than 15% of modern Egyptians' ancestry, so Egyptians are not genetically Arabs, but we maybe so culturally and linguistically

For the people who Don't know, Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians and Syrians Act together in most of the movies and Arabic TV series in the region. And if they are not acting together, they are writing scripts, producing and directing movies for one another. It is a beautiful rich culture we all have. Youssef Chahine is good example for that because he was originally Lebanese and worked most of his life directing in Egypt.

So sad that the ancient people of Egypt completely lost their identity and think they are Arabs! Egyptians are not Arabs and their history goes way beyond Islam and the Arab invasion! Unfortunately when they allowed Arabic to take over their language, now they think they are Arabs!

I’m so happy you included the ancient Egyptian language into the video. Arabic definitely helps with the proper pronunciation of the terms ♥️

The Egyptian food looks soo good btw. In Turkish Cypriot culture we also have mololkhia like Egyptians but we pronounce it Molo_hiya. It is sooo nice to see similarities. :)

Derived from the Greek, "Agyptos". I guess it's just easier for people outside the middle east to pronounce.

I love these recent tributes your making. I’m a Syrian American living in NY and am going to make my kids watch all of them! Keep it coming! What about دريد لحام? Very funny Syrian comedian...ever think about Arabic comedians in general too. I know it’s hard to say everything in such a small time frame...
