Love riding at Markham. Thanks for the tacos tip. The red tacos sign on SR-84 can be found next to Road Hawgs bar, near Dunkin Donuts between 136th and Flamingo. It's called Agave Azul. We now "go there every single time," too.

Hey Seth! I love down in Key Biscayne and am taking a trip this weekend to Markham this Sunday. In Key Biscayne there is a local trailhead. I've seen that you have gone to Amelia and other trails and hope that sometime you could head down and try the different trails. Hope to see you there sometime!!!
@SethsBikeHacks9 жыл бұрын
I've been to Virginia Key plenty of times, but obviously not as much as the others since Biscane is a little further. That trail has some really fun sections, and even a few obstacles that top the others. I'll be down there again for sure!

Not sure if it was open when you rode it but Gun Range loop is freaky, not least because of the noise from the gun range right next to it. It's hard enough to ride a black diamond loop without having to worry about some gun nut going postal and blasting in all directions

@michaeltodddeloach1049 жыл бұрын
nice... what bike do you ride? specs?
@SethsBikeHacks9 жыл бұрын
Michael Todd DeLoach Thanks, I may do a bike check video one of these days. It's actually a pretty ordinary bike, but with all different parts than it came with. It's a Trek 4-Series frame with 26" wheels. I have a Race Face single chainring, Race Face cranks, and Forté Terramax wheels wrapped in Maxxis Holy Rollers. I also run a DNM Dropper seat post to change the height on the fly, and a RockShox Recon suspension fork. You may laugh when I tell you I'm running a Shimano Altus Derailleur with a 7-Speed cassette, both under $20. To keep the chain from popping off when things get hairy, I run a Bionicon C-Guide Eco chain guide. Bars are Ritchey, with lock-on grips by Origin8. Race Face Ring: amzn.to/1FfFW29 Race Face Cranks: amzn.to/1A1Gw3u DNM Dropper Post: amzn.to/1L3kluq GoPro Mount: amzn.to/1A1GLvg Holy Rollers: amzn.to/1L3kv4Z Cassette: amzn.to/1A1H4q6 Derailleur: amzn.to/1PkLXRH Bars: amzn.to/1A1HkoX Grips: amzn.to/1PkM4N3

Nice review. Are there alligators to look out for?
@knordberg8 жыл бұрын
I live in Colorado and we have to be aware of rattlesnakes. Seems like each area has their own wild animal to avoid.
@AddictsPalato8 жыл бұрын
I think running into a snake would be more likely and dangerous than an alligator in markham.
@knordberg8 жыл бұрын
What kind of snakes do you need to watch for?
@AddictsPalato8 жыл бұрын
Apparently we have cottonmouths, rattlesnakes, copperheads, never seen one and probably never will. But critters can spawn and spread quickly here so next few years maybe different. IMO, when biking at markham or any dense trail the biggest threat is mosquitoes. Never take a break for more than a minute on a trail. And spider webs spawn over night so don't be the first to ride through one.
@knordberg8 жыл бұрын
Cottonmouths... that was the one I was trying to think of. Those are pretty bad. I'm from Mn. originally, so I understand mosquitos. It was our state bird. lol

What sets Seth apart from other bikers on youtube is, it's not about the upgrade for Seth, it's about his skills. Give Seth a Diamond back or some other Walmart bike with 30mm steel stanchions and coil spring and he would ride it like it's a million dollar bike while other KZbinrs are all about, get this Yeti, or this Santa Cruz for a billion dollars with all the horns and whistles or the latest Pike fork and that's exactly what's going to transform your riding. And "If you ain't got all these expensive stuff, you are a nobody!", that's their logic. Seth would load a wet sand in a cheap bike to make it as heavy as possible and bunnyhop that son m bitch like a 10k carbon bike while other KZbinrs make riding only imaginable for some fat nerdy silicon valley IT specialist with a 6 figure salary who only poses with his shiny machine he can't even ride for shit. He just rolls it around to show hey! "I earn 200k a year, and I can afford all these. Ride on Seth, don't you dare change.
