Absolutely loved the video! I have only one bone of contention : the part of your title "you NEVER hear about"! I beg to differ. I am almost 68 years old and have known, read and seen documentaries about the mountainous areas of Pakistan (Hunza, K2, Nanga Parbat, Rakaposhi, the Trango Towers, and hundreds of spectacular peaks of the Karakorum which lie wholly within Pakistan) even before the advent of KZbin. I agree that the headline news is always of misery and suffering, natural disasters and poverty etc. etc. But that hold true for almost any country in the world, including the USA.... we all know what great natural beauty different parts of the USA have but if we were to go only by the news (mass shootings, crime, racism, etc etc.) we would probably avoid it like the plague. There have been travellers before your generation, the only difference is now you have a drone and a Go Pro and the internet, so everything is scaled up to reach millions in an instant! That being said, I still think your video is remarkable, though that clip where you deliberately risk life and limb by hanging from the suspension bridge might send out the wrong message..... of course I'm an old geezer so I have learnt to value my life a tad more.... That's a really good comment and experience shared. 👍 I travelled Northern Pakistan during 98-99 when travelling conditions were really really bad and I travelled mostly on the roof because I was young and I was on the adventurous ride. Everything, everyone, and every creature was beautiful. I have forgotten a lot because of some brain issues but one thing cannot forget. The night when I was at top of the mountain beside Muzaffarabad and when I looked below for Muzaffarabad, there were stars under my feet. If anyone has seen that view cannot forget ever.

As a person born and raised in Pakistan and currently living in Canada, I can confirm that there are so many wonders of this country that aren't given credit. Pakistan is a very beautiful place and everywhere you go you will get strong teaching of the cultural arts. People in Pakistan are so talented, the recitations, singers and musicians in Pakistan are incredible. The culinary arts, textile, train arts, pottery, jewellery design and floral art is so amazing. Most people in Pakistan are very kind, and helpful. They all mean well, It's just that poverty has taken control of their mental stability. I have so many great memories and strong relationships with people back in Pakistan if anyone asks me where I preferred to live I always say Pakistan which is confusing to people who wonder how I could compare Pakistan with a top-rank country like Canada. The country of Pakistan is very beautiful but the people who came into power earlier have eaten all the resources and left the public dying of hunger. Now one good person has come who is Imran Khan and they are trying to kill him because they don't want to lose the money and power they gained by ruining the country. And who behind those bad people in Pakistan, sorry to say but its the US government who have bought the silence of the police in Pakistan. Why is the US government doing this, even today they do not want Muslims to live happily and peacefully. Even when Imran Khan tried to get help from Russia, the US stopped him, what nonsense is this? It's his choice whatever he does for Pakistan and in no way does it affect other countries negatively so back off. When afghany soldiers helped the US, everyone was happy, then when they tried to save their life and get information across the border they were stopped and detained by the US officials. When they needed to use our people for their benefit, everything was good but then once they no longer need help they leave us to die of torture. I have spoken on this issue freely and with no fear but I can predict that next thing that will happen is that US Media officials will come after me for why I have opened all their inside information. Well I'm OK with that but know this that if they do that, it is clear proof they are hiding things. I think only Imran Khan is being protected by God because he is not selfish like the rest of the people who have power in Pakistan.

Beautiful! I'm from Pakistan and have travelled those areas but only in a jeep and explored very little. I've been living in the US for over a decade now and boy I love trekking and hiking now which I've been doing quite a bit and make my own videos, since I moved here and met my wife who is from Taiwan and helped me connect to the nature. One day I will go back to do the same n my native country. I regret why i didn't realize the potential and the beauty when I was there.
