There are fine point sharpies out know. They work really good

I have used them, but I always end up rounding off the tips. I like the fine tips for marking plumbing tips

Joe, I had heard that one of the reasons a carpenters pencil was shaped the way it is was because it's thickness can be used as a measurement (1/4 inch). Have you ever used it this way, or heard of others using it this way? Thanks in advance!

I have heard this - but not sure I would use my pencil for any accurate measurement - I have too many teeth marks on it.
