Let’s be honest. Matt killed his scenes. You can even see his eyes tearing up when you say he isn’t Mark. I was so impressed by his acting skills. He was good in Heist too, acting crazy, etc. but that was a more comical character so it’s difficult to actually grasp the talent. But in here. Oh boy, the stare, tone, tears, shouting, everything was so perfect. I hope to see more. And I know we will because the end of Space with Markiplier suggests a new project Edit. I'm stupid, I didn't realize that the ending was a connection to heist

I think the "a baby always remembers its father" actually has to do with mark building the warp core. that being why mark is pulled into the loop. the warp core remembered its creator and allowed him to remember

For anyone who is curious the "paradox" that is threatening the universe is what is known as a bootstrap paradox. It's when you have a self perpetuating event loop within time. For example mark blows up the wormhole generator because he thinks you sabotaged it and created the wormhole. However mark blowing up the generator is what causes the wormhole. So future mark blows up present day wormhole generator, which causes the wormhole. The wormhole causes the agency to blame you, which makes future mark think you sabotaged the wormhole generator. So future mark goes to present day to blow up the generator causing the cycle of events to continue

If you don’t realize, the Romance and Horror option is a reference to A Date with Markiplier where he takes you to the theater and you are given a choice to watch either romance or horror. The romance option is normal while the horror option is where mark disappears and You get a confrontation with Darkiplier. I hope this makes sense.

My favorite thing about Mack is that he’s the juxtaposition of Mark, as in when Mark was in charge everything was chaos, everything was going wrong but as SOON as Mack wakes up he starts taking control, the crisis is averted and he totally takes over and is an expert. I love how Mark wrote your character

And if we go with the theory of ISWM Mark being Actor (and Actor being the creator of this story)...he's willing to go along with us because he's aware of the limits of this world he's created

After seeing Mat's mindbreak scene [which was, personal opinion, a masterclass] I realized I hadn't done that myself in a while, as someone who also really enjoys those opportunities. So I took a chaotic "neutral" [but like, chaotic neutral in the sense that he could easily be a red herring for a villain] DnD character I'd had in the back of my mind and did a little monologue to myself in his character. Normally calm, cool, collected, snake like persona, with his facade cracked by seeing the one group he's ever cared about be harmed. BOYYYYYY that was cathartic [and fun voice acting practice]. The paradox with "The Lady" is that _she_ gains possession of the Portable Wormhole Generator that the Bandit gives us in Part 1 right after the interrogation. A device supercharged by the Warp Crystal that also embeds itself in our hand even earlier in Part 1. The paradox here is that by _her_ gaining the device, she is then enabled to travel back to numerous points at the Warp Core bridge to try and stop _us_, the Captain and Head Engineer Mark from destroying all of reality, when in fact the points she is traveling to are us trying to save it and shut down the Warp Core. By avoiding this particular paradox, we stop her ever being able to go back and making things worse in her attempts to save everyone and fix everything. There isn't _just_ the one paradox that needs to be resolved throughout 1 and 2... but perhaps it's also not _the_ paradox the Warp Core wants us to resolve...

In my playthrough, there's a scene where she has it and she says you shouldn't have it because she just took it from you. I think the paradox would actually be her *not* obtaining it, because the scenes where she has it have already happened. Her obtaining it stabilizes the paradox, but her not having it would create a bigger paradox.

Actually mark doesnt know that in part 1, past mark finds the warp core in middle of space, then he gets to the warp core room without the device when you tell him not to use it in the camp, so he starts "re-building" or at least that is what he thinks, he doesnt know that he is building it for the first time, he is creating it, even if he thinks he is merely rebuilding it

i have a running theory on who actually sabotaged the ship, besides for a future-ish mark sending the warp core back. if you didn't save mark and let him go in the wormhole instead of holding on, the warp core gets sent and you get stuck with the old lady with cookies, i have a feeling she has a bigger part to play in this such as, she might've some how manipulated the mark into doing such things to try to get damian's memory rekindled, as you said in your theory. I feel like she is somehow pushing mark into the state of creating paradox's and time-loops to try and get damian back. I say time-loops because again, when met with the old lady with cookies, you get sent back to part 1 to do it all over again, i could be wrong but this is after watching your game theory video on it and doing my own speculations on it, and after seeing your video on how she continuously pops up in part 1, comes back in part 2 as one of the endings only to send you back into part 1, and seeing darkiplier, at least i believe with the 3D scheme and his expensive shoes, at the end after saving mark. I've also noticed no matter what path you choose or different paths you take to try out different outcomes, it all ends the same with you encountering the "lady" and having her steal the weird device the bandit gave you and you encountering mark while he builds the warp core. at least those are the only 2 scenes I have noticed that, at least from experience, are the scenes that you will always get no matter how different of a path you took from your previous path, if you did do it again that is. Sorry if this is at all confusing, i did write this at 6:15am with no sleep the previous night, can't wait to see the game theory video on part 2

The thing is, Mark doesn't say "her father" in this version of events, he says "ITS father". He's not referring to the Invincible II, he's referring to another thing that he built.
