here's the thing: we've all seen 096's face through the internet, the wiki, and from the games. Unless the face is completely different compared to how it was predicted in media, will shyguy instantly know if that guy (in this case markiplier who has definitely seen his face multiple times) knows what his face looks like the moment that person is pulled into their reality? If that is the case we would all be screwed the moment we get pulled in.

I’ve been tempted to try and write a new SCP about a shapeshifter that turns into Markiplier and believes that it’s the real McCoy, otherwise it would try to get rid of the real Mark. So to keep it contained, the foundation set up the fake Mark with a computer, games from steam, a web cam, and access to the “internet” which is just a replica of KZbin made to look like it’s posting videos.
