When I was younger, I had a pen pal who kept telling me about FNAF and it scared the crap out of me. I refused to sleep with the lights off, and I refused to go into the bathroom because of the vent. I honestly kind of forgot how good the dialog and progression of tone is with Phone Guy's lines, like at first he's so dismissive like it's all really normal to him, but as the week progresses and you start on night six he asks you what on earth you're doing there and seems really shaken up trying to tell you what happened and slap a plan together for how they're gonna take care of it in the morning, and "Just finish your shift, that's safer than trying to leave in the middle of the night" It's written in a way that really feels like a genuine reaction someone might have to a tragedy happening at their work place and how they might communicate with coworkers afterwards

That job is to watch over a children's birthday party the next day and stay close to the animatronics to ensure nothings goes wrong, while wearing his security uniform (which is purple, important detail). So, the morning of the seventh night, Jeremy does as told and is bit by one of the animatronics who rip out his frontal lobe. THAT is the bite of '87. The seventh night, you play as a new security guard under the name Fritz Smith, only for one night before the establishment is closed for good. At the time. (Fritz Smith is believed to be a fake alias for Michael Afton, revisiting the establishments trying to find answers to his father, William's wrongdoings.)

The absence of sound is often scarier than sound itself, because hearing something scary means you know it’s there, not hearing something scary means you have no idea where it is, what it is, and when you’re going to start hearing it (if you get the chance to)

That's what makes FNAF 1 so intense, but FNAF 2 isnt as intense since theres always that alarm. The first is more of mysterious noises you need to listen for and you dont have a good idea where something is without checking.

So happy he revisited this. I remember when this came out and was thriving & Markiplier was getting so popular with FNAF. And Markiplier was the one who made me take an interest in FNAF as a kid. and when he brought up "IS THAT THE BITE OF 87?"back gave me so much nostalgia. Nice one Mark
