Some places fans are amazing and some not so. Always been that way but worse now with phones.. i remember pantera concert's we lost our shoes and tore up the entire seat section . Thats fun.. gen z is soft.. if not than prove me wrong .

At the San Diego show last week fkrs were lighting trash bins on fire in the middle of the circle pit. One guy even lit his shirt on fire and was twirling it around. Things were definitely getting out of control up in the lawn section for our show.

I don't know how to feel about Phil "starting the band" again. I love him as the singer of pantera, but he's the reason they split, which led to Dime being killed during the performance of his new band. And now, years later, after Vinnie and Dime (the two who started the band in the beginning) have passed, he decides to "put the band together?!". Is he looking for fame or wants to continue the memory of the Abbott Brothers thru the band? Either way, It's unfair he is leading this band now when he is the reason they split. No disrespect to the fill-ins; they know they can't replace Dime and Vinnie, but this is just a cover band.

Zakk was dimes best friend and signed on to carry the torch. Rex and Phil still there. No one can ever be vinny but this guy holds his own. Not that I'm a huge Metallica fan but you're saying that once cliff passed that the band should have gone their separate ways? I'm confused...

@brians8531 I know who zakk is. And if anyone should take Dime's place, it's him. But what I'm saying is that they don't have the same weight at Dime and Vinnie. They were half the band. They had bigger roles than what cliff had with metallica. Cliff sure was a better bassist than Robert (I think that's his name), but it isn't enough for the band to break off after his death it wouldnt make sense. Vinnie and Dime were the heart and soul of the band, and Phil the voice. And they broke it off after Phil departed because they knew what the band was without one another. Otherwise, they would have gotten another singer.
