It was a duel, the video just didn’t catch the whole process. She beheaded him with a Scottish claymore at the end of one of her later solos and wore his face like a mask all the way through the encore. Quite a performance tbh

Such talent and she knows how to play a room. Many don't know sadly. She has a warmer sound which I prefer. He has a harder more percussive sound. Both are excellent players. If she smiled at you, it would be hard not to smile back. She's also so beautiful and had a fun personality.

Don't think so. Mandolin, Octave Mandolin, Guitar, Dobro, 5-string Banjo and even violin. I haven't seen him play a tenor banjo, but since they are nearly the same size as an octave mandolin, and tuned in the same intervals, can't see that he would have a problem with one...

Problem with sierra is she`s a speed freak. She always has to out play everyone showing off her virtuoso on the mandolin. I don`t think she`s capable of playing an slow lullaby , she`s on an ego trip for speed and has to win the competence race against any accompanist out to prove she`s the best or better. Maybe sometimes you can be too good and spoils the ambiance and choice of music as all eyes a fixed on her fret board admiring her playing. I`ve never seen her play a slow ballad.
