Dang Mark... you work fast! I put a clip up on Buplup yesterday and it made this cut. Thanks for including me in the cut, btw that step-up looks SO Good! I need to put some time into this weird feature I have at the end of my Trail here in SoCal... there was this big dirt 1/2 moon crater shape I wanted to incorporate, I spent a couple hours and put in a small step-up that gets you up onto the rim.... or you can just roll up on it and ride the rim like a skinny to continue back onto the trail. I want to either make it so the step up is bigger and then clear out the inside of the crater so you can land pretty much anywhere like hip... or shave down the rim of the crater into a rolling double or kind of a curved dirt Wale Tail feature. Any direction or advice would be much appreciated! (or just keep doing what you're doing and I'll pay attention) keep up the good work! ---here's the feature in question btw: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5anapqVpclqoac

Honest question, how can you just go anywhere in the woods and just say, I'm gonna make a trail here. Is it because you are you or can you just do that in BC? I honestly want to build my own trail but everywhere I look it's illegal.

I have the same type gullies on my property, how many bike length did u leave in the transition from going downhill to the base of the jump? Mine doesn’t flow so well and it could be part of my problem. Also my run in isn’t as straight as yours, so that could be the real issue.
@MarkMatthewsMTB4 жыл бұрын
I did quite a bit of scraping and dirt filling in the belly to mellow out the compression. If you have nice formable dirt I’d recommend doing the same and shape the dirt in a way to help line you up nicer too
