Norm is awesome too, and def has that social awkwardness, so I would think that you would like more of Marks stuff. Maybe you should just give him a little more time and see if he grows on you. Man, just watching Mark navigate the emotions of the crowd, bringing them back down to Earth when necessary, is something to behold. Louie was always great at that, but Mark is more endearing. For someone who apparently finds it hard connecting, he really makes use of his uniquely outward self-awaress.

@@koenigsforst_ I just watched it.....honestly wasn't as good as I would have thunk.......Joe kinda ruins it for almost the entire first half. He finally starts to open up and get on the ol'Mark Train and it does get better as it goes. Joe just misses so many of Marks jokes, or at least he doesn't acknowledge a lot of them. I actually find myself not liking Joe in this podcast. Maybe it's just me, or the fact that Mark is such a down to earth dude, but it really brings out the arrigence in Joe. Also, Maybe its bc Mark is def one of the funniest guys, so hard to compare, but he really makes Joe seem unfunny and douchey in a way i've never really noticed before. Just my 2 cents on this one. I'm typically a pretty big JRE fan.....the worst part is when they completely butcher the whole Jordan Peterson Rehab deal.......Maybe you'll have some time to watch it after reading my novel!

I love that as a generalization(I know it's bad to generalize), black people seem to love humor and laughter. He's not afraid of backlash because his jokes aren't punching down. There's this misconception that comedians aren't allowed to be offensive anymore... Mark is a perfect example of how inaccurate that sentiment is. You just have to be smart with your jokes. No one wants to listen to a hack comic rely on bigoted humor for laughs anymore, we've moved beyond that as a society.
