UPDATE: In 2.92, instead of searching for "add tube" etc. After selecting faces you RIGHT CLICK and its the top option. If you get weird results its likely your scale is too small. Test it with a larger scale and it will likely work. -I know this is an older video now but Im assuming this doesn't work in 2.92? Its not an option in the search box and its enabled in addons. Shame because it looks great and I really needed this. Are there any other pipe options for 2.92? Google doesn't return too many results and while piperator works it does give the results im after. Thanks for the video.-

Yes thaanks And if it you still get weird results, you can check your face orientation (the two faces you want to join must be blue)

Bonus tip: If you separate your objects afterwards, and then hook the endpoints to the separated objects you can move them and they stay connected.

Good info...but there isn’t any need to delete the default cube only to immediately add a cube. It’s redundant. This addon is great however if you don’t want to manually add the bezier curves.

hey, just make sure that you have enabled it in the preferences. Installing it will just unzip the files, but then you need to enable it aswell. I have the latest build and just tested it, and it was all good.

@@Markom3D Yeah, i find there method of making things easier more contra for existing users. What what 2 clicks is now 4 or more. There are tons of these where we need to dive into manuals just because the shortcut was deleted and you cant even give it a shortcut. That needs fixing! I dont get it why they deleted shortcuts to make it easier. What logic is behind that?! If you dont use a shortcut why then delete if for users which do use it?! So people which just started learning to shift in a car, well lets take it out. Thats much easier?!?! WTF!

Rombout Versluijs the worst shortcut they change was flipping the normals. Ctrl N is now open a new blend file - lost work a few times because of that

Hmmm now im not even sure when that prompt shows. I just tried a couple methods and now it wont show like it sometimes actually does?! Very inconsistant. Im on mac and alway had this OSX warning, that is also gone now and it just quits, just like you said

If you cannot get this to work or the context menu doesn't show up. For me I had to join the two items together than select the faces and then it worked. Hopefully that helps someone out there.

Cool, but doesn't seem to work correctly. I'm using 2.83.2. First off it's a tad fiddly to have to search for the Add Simple Tube function each time but the main thing is the contextual menu doesn't appear on the bottom left of screen when I've created a tube, so I can't seem to change the scale, radius, etc without fiddling around manually. Bummer, man!

If anyone is in the same boat as me, just select the tube in Object Mode, go to Object Data Properties> Geometry> Bevel and change your Depth to adjust the scale of the pipe, and you can play with the resolution, the Start & End of the tube etc etc.
