Great review, Mark. I know nothing about these bikes but, what an impressive little machine! Looks like a proper motorbike with those cooling fins and spoked wheels, great dash too. I bought a Rebel Red Hntr (like yours) in March and I love riding that. I've had all the big powerful stuff, over the years, but I'm starting to develop a real interest in the array of smaller retro style bikes coming onto the market. I might have to have a closer look at that Bluroc, crazy low price too! 👍 Cheers, Phil

Very spacious chassis/engine for cleaning. Air cooled, looks pretty decent. Not a fan of all this all black look. Had 1 black car never again. Me love polishing chrome. My fsie glistened in the sun. Why have bullit changed name to blue roc? Love these 12 hp 125s can cruise at 50. My old 125s maxed out at 45-50

I go to my shop twice a day, 6 days a week and it's just 500m from home, plus all the errants I have to run throughout the day, all super short rides. No engine would ever be happy doing that but if it's going to be one it might as well be a 125, in my case, an XSR. Even when I move up as I plan to, I'll keep the 125 for that reason alone. And if you're gonna be riding a 125, might as well do so in style. Remnants from my old karting days maybe but I find aircooled engines a thing of beauty.

G'day Mark, great review, most small bikes in Australia are used in the City's, farms and bush bashing, the market is huge so this bike would sell well if available here?? , Been away on a long ride as the weather is just perfect, you keep safe while riding over the cooler months, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

These 125 engines all have balance shafts which takes care of the vibrations. Easy to handle and move about, enough power for having fun at lower speeds, great aound islands and tight bends.The engine has a lovely purr to it as well and the low price too. Thanks Mark great video!

One thing I believe missed here was its acceleration (from standstill) which would have been useful with smaller cc bikes. However I'm nit-picking as you covered pretty much everything else. Happy new year, keep reviews coming.

Great little bike. I keep sayimng this, but such a shame the licence limit in the UK is 125cc and not 150cc. That extra 25cc makes such a difference. You see a lot of similar bikes in Thailand, the Thai brand Stallions being very common. Evidently, they're very good bikes, too. Nick

Looks not unlike the Lexmoto ZSB but tidied up with a few more modern parts and metric size tyres for about £500 more but does have more kerbside appeal with the daytime running lamp and instrument cluster. Very few dealers sadly and always the parts supply issues but i suspect a lot of off the shelf parts would fit this bike.

There are a couple of comments complaining about the low power but it’s an air cooled Euro 5 so what do you expect ! The side stand really seems to stick out and spoils the looks somewhat of what is otherwise quite a smart looking bike 🇬🇧

Altogether a competent retro styled 125 bike at a good price with only one minus in my opinion is the exhaust system which I think should be stainless steel as I think the painted original from other reviews I've seen seem to rust.
@jamesbarrie24589 ай бұрын
Ideal first bike although combined braking won't help when you move up to your next bike. I note that in common with most modern bikes it has a useless front mudguard, muck all over the bike and your legs!

Great review Mark, as always. I am just getting into bikes and very interested in these 125s. There are a slew of them all based on the the same platform retro look, but for me, this one really has captured the style, and for the money and the features, that is a very tempting offer. Would be interested on your thoughts on the WK Scrambler as a direct alternative. Thanks again Mark, keep up the great work
@markpulling128 ай бұрын
Hi the wk uses the same engine I believe...I'd say it's much the same ...but for me the bluroc rides really well...I definitely recommend it Best wishes mark

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I would agree with you, I think the Bluroc has the definite edge. Very much on par with those other bikes from China/Birmingham but for a more realistic price. I have my CBT in the new year and then I think it's going to be this one in the BRG finish. Have a great Christmas Mark.

Almost got one, well the "Bluroc" not legend am guessing its a Bullit? Got the Zontes G1 instead. Nice little bike! Super learner. Easy 250 mile range, the G1 did 300+ on a 19 litre tank. P.s You can green lane on them which adds a lot more fun but I didnt much in case had a fall (wanted to sell).

Crikey, Mark, what a bargain. Nice review, as we have come to enjoy, thank you for sharing. I'm looking for something for my youngest son, soon. I want to buy a decent looking little 125 before the world goes mad and Rishi Starmer-Davey ban us from walking over 3mph and fine us for talking about motorbikes. This looks perfect, mate, fabulous looks, power on 125's is much of a muchness, anyway and at that price, if you get 5 or 6 years out of it, the depreciation would be less than 500 beer tokens a year, even if you just binned it.. What's not to like? Shhhh....don't tell Keir Sunak-Davey.......they'll soon ban that idea in the new anti-fun-how-very-dare-you-travel-anywhere laws to come into force to replace euro17 emission regs. Plus, think of poor Dame Greta........she'll be throwing herself out of her private jet. So don't tell anyone, OK mate! See you at the NEC, friend; my boy and me will be checking these out. Take care, Mark.

I am a owner of a new Bluroc Legend with 1500 km.and have serious problems...no power (i climb hills in the 1.gear with 40 kmh.and the second gear has not power enough to continue) and after every cold start the motor dies several times while running...the dealer has no solution and says it is a common problem with the controll electronics of this bike ,but the Bluroc company gives no support and doesent respond to inquiries. Beautiful on the outside,but poor in the inside...I am very disappointed!!!
@Lander769 ай бұрын
Looks like a nice bike but the weedy 11hp power output is enough to put me off. Why do manufacturers still insist on restricting power? Surely they could bump up to 14bhp?
@leegreveson9 ай бұрын
That low fuel level flashing was giving me anxiety from the comfort of my living room 😂 I have the yellow one while I'm on L plates, as a "mature" newbie to motorbikes. They are characterful and look great, but they are woefully underpowered and don't kid yourself on top speed 😮😮 55 mph (really 52mph) on the flat if I'm lucky, and I'm identical to you in height and weight. It's a shame really, a bit more power would be very welcome. Apparently though, the pre EFI versions were better, carbs and better exhausts, so, thanks a lot Euro 5 😡
@markpulling129 ай бұрын
Haha yes I put 5 litres in so I knew that I had about 80 miles in the tank ...the warning light comes on quite early with 5 litres or so left Great little bike ...but yes shame it's not 14 hp Cheers mark

Why do they not tell us it's made in China in all the Marketing 😮 Honda Varadero 125cc second hand might be a safer bike.
@mikerider589 ай бұрын
@WishfulThinking-ms2cf I still believe a second hand Honda would be better value. I'd be deeply concerned about not only the re-sale value of these cheap Chinese bikes 🤔 but the lack of power and build quality concerns me. When you consider 🤔 Shipping cost and dealers profit and Government tax , the Chinese must have made these bikes at a silly price.

People said the same thing years back when the japanese bikes started making their way onto the market... alot of the chinese bikes aren't nearly as bad as people think, many are easy to get parts for if needed but so long as you look after them, give them proper maintenance and service them regularly they'll last for years.
@mikerider589 ай бұрын
@Hazmatti Actually people didn't say the same thing about Japanese bike because l was there back in the 60s 70s my father was a motorcycle mechanic and my family were involved in motorcycle racing. People couldn't get enough of Japanese Premium Bikes. It was our British bikes that were Rubbish. The Japanese bikes were extremely well made and totally outclassed their competitors. The people who said Japanese bikes were no good, knew nothing about motorcycles.
