I have enjoyed learning more of the technical aspects of boat building from your channel. Thanks and keep up the great work.

I've loved these plans since I built my first model boats as a child. 😊👍

Happy to see a new series. I think the approach you mentioned is a great idea. You kinda lost me a bit near the end of the last project. Just a bit too detailed for my casual interest in woodworking and boat building/refits. Your review of the plans today was very interesting. Right up my alley.

I’m so glad to see you explaining this process. In my experience it is very helpful to do exactly what you are describing. Very well said, can’t wait for the next episode.

Mark explains every video like this and you should check his previous work, he’s a tremendous boat builder and educator.

Your detail and explanations are great Mark. My inability to " see" drafted plans and visualize them in 3-D in the end project has always been my shortcoming/crux. I look forward to your weekly vlog and am very inspired by your effort and craftsmanship. Thanks for your videos.

That can be the hardest part for sure. Sometimes the ability to visualize can trip me up with over planning.

Never heard of a Bundle Batten before! I remember struggling with my lofting until discovering one of my batten's had a tiny hidden knot within it. Thanks!!!

They are so simple to make and hugely effective. I have them in many sizes, usually made out of any tablesaw ripping that happens to be thin enough. I also have ones made out of two strips of 1/4” plastic that are good for really tight curves.

I saw that. I don't know if the race is on exactly. I started at the ass end by building the sail rig first. Maybe we'll meet in the middle.

This is a boat I am considering building, so this is going to be hugely informative!

Hi Mark Who provided the plans? I did not catch the name. As a rough guess how many Vlog issues do you think? The last wherry boat was just great but a little too many - but still better than perfect. Thinking of using my building frame modified for this one

This is an Iain Oughtred design. I haven't planned out the series but I'm thinking only ten episodes maybe. Depends on what I can dream up for subject matter.

The Gannet hull form looks very like a Lido 14 😜.

Very fine educational video Amigo, but the detail stuff always perplexes me.

Do you mean the details involved in any particular project or the details that I go into?

Lovely looking, but hardly high performance.....

Relative to the traditional working craft hull forms Oughtred is known for.
