With another year gone and after watching it several times already I just figured this needs another 'bump'. All valuable lessons in there!! Well done, Mark, and thanks for keeping it available for us learners following several years behind you. :)

I was only replying to previous comments. I have contacted authorities including ministers. I too prefer not to get into long winded back and forth convos. I'm not against essentials services, just the increase in other non long term flyers using circuit training and I have better things to do than get further involved here. :-). Happy essential services flying, Nola :-) (sincerely)

I grew up in Beaumaris and lived there for 20 years. I returned 14 years ago. The policy at the (now) corporatised airport has increased beyond measure due to an expansion policy of circuit training pilots (including international students). Circuit training involves landing and take offs as well as flyovers (sometimes involving 2 or more flyovers per circuit and some quite low and overhead). Every new beginner flight impacts multiple times. So, yes I do know what I'm talking about. In 1949, it was a small quaint airport (not commercialised and government run) with little impact on locals. Those in the north, east and south of the airport now have a terrible time with the impact of these very frequent small planes. Now, beginners are beginning to impact increasingly on the east side and its marine sanctuary areas. So, thus is a corporatised airport too big to expand in a residential area especially with learner pilots. Once there was the occasional drone. Now..it's horrid.

If you wouldn't mind please direct your enquires to the relevant authorities, not me. I have a small audience and don't share your views. I value aviation and its service to the community. For example all of the pilots that rescue people in danger, fly you to Sydney or overseas, or defend our country, learnt to fly at airports like Moorabbin. Goodbye. I won't be continuing this conversation with you.

Look, it may be a minor problem but when you're going on your holidays overseas you will be very helpful.

We in the surrounding Residential areas from sea to land and all around do Not enjoy your constant droning and loud noise. Not only there is an obvious safety concern - trainees and residential areas don't mix. Circuit drone and residential areas don't mix. My suburb was a peaceful area, now it is purgatory in summer or fine days - just when you want to be outside, you get the looonnnnggg, looouuuddd, dronnnnnnnnne!

+Nola McKin The airport opened in 1949, how was your residential area previously more peaceful than it is now.
