Bought one for my daughter last year, her first car n she loves it, n still hasn’t broke it yet 😂 imo it’s a great car for someone getting into the hobby , u can adjust the shocks there 3or 4 diff holes for adjustment, and you can also turn the top of the shock for stiffer springs, and has all the parts and part# in the booklet it comes w if you do break something

The reason the cheap company's include stuff like metal cv's and skid plates is to make the product more appealing to people who aren't experienced, when actually they are completely unnecessary. It doesn't cost the manufacturer much more because its very cheap metal. For example the slash vxl comes with plastic shafts and i've never broken one in 2 years of pretty hard use.

You know the deal...! When you're doing the video and you're doing an unboxing and you're going to do a speed run. You need to show the speed run. I wouldn't buy nothing cheap like that most cars are bought are from watching KZbin and listening to the critics and comparing to other RCs. I like your channel bro but let's not start losing points off of that crappy video you just made by not showing the speed run. We don't know if anything broke just from turning in going up on the grass maybe hit a sprinkler anything. If I bought that cheap car for my son I wouldn't want it to break in the next 5 minutes. Try to keep your videos authentic as I thought you been doing this is the first one I seen. I don't like how you purposely didn't show the speed run it was a waste of my time.. . All I saw you were advertising that vehicle for the company who made it.

Yes. You might need adjustable body posts, and to remove or put different bumpers. But you need wide body, like proline octane, for narrow body you will have to install shorter bandit a arms

For $199 you can get a Traxxas, true hobby grade, not a throw away R/C. And right now Traxxas has a sale on lots of models. Save yourself the aggravation get a true hobby grade car, if it was $100 or less I would say give it a shot but it's not..

for anyone actually wanting to get into this hobby and wants to buy this truck, buy a 2wd brushed rustler instead. its the same price, but you have a truck from one of the most reputable rc companies (traxxas) so parts will always be available, online, or at your local hobby store. if you do end up loving the hobby, theres hundreds of upgrades you could do to it whereas this truck probably doesn't have any options. if this truck was maybe 100-120$, it'd be more worth it

That is where the worth truly is. When these cheap rc breaks it’s impossible to get the parts. And if your new to the hobby. It can be a turn off to either wait for a long time. Or just to completely scrap it.

Well, the reason you have seen good reviews about wl toys and other bangood specials is they are paid promotion, and they get commission from sales. The main reason why most big KZbin channels don't review Traxxas is because they get no commission from Traxxas sales

@@valuerc2664 It appears your video was made in 2017. WL Toys has improved their cars since then. I have seen them honestly reviewed on other channels. They aren't bad. Are they as good as a Traxxas car? No, they are not. I think if I was buying an r/c car for a gift for some new to the hobby, I would buy a Traxxas Bandit. It's under appreciated. It's increased in price by about $40 for some reason since the Spring. It still under $200 RTR. Parts are readily available, there are after market parts, etc. Its great for a spec class or a rookie class.

@@michaeldorich4485 the main problem I see with Chinese cars is price. They use to be cheap, but not anymore. A while ago I bought acme trooper, Identical to hobbyking trooper for 122$. True 10 scale 4wd brushless short course. Performance was decent, but it felt apart after a while and I throw it in trash. The worst spent money on rc ever, but it was a good value, 122$ against 400$ for slash 4x4 vxl. But Chinese are not stupid, why not pay someone 5% commission for advertising, and sell the same crap for double the price. Wl toys my friend had was very durable, but uncontrollable as you can see in the video. All plastics are too soft and everything is flexing, nothing is adjustable and it set up bad, I remember it had massive toe out in the front, it's not possible to drive straight, also radio I losing range after 10 yards, esc is cutting out every minute or two, steering lag is ridiculous. It's fast, it's durable, but that's all, you can't drive and enjoy

@@valuerc2664 I have seen reviews on a couple of WL Toys newer buggies on RC Kicks and they drive quite well. The newest one is a brushless buggy and looks more like a traditional buggy with separate electronics. The reviewer does a good job opening up the diff, talking about cogging, etc. These cars are very similar to LC Racing cars which are sold by Warren RC in the states. I think the LC Racing cars are better. The WL Toys buggy recently review on RC Kicks goes for about $182 on Amazon. It's a 4WD buggy, but I would still rather have the Bandit. Definitely more of a $150 RC. You'd be better off getting one of the offerings from Redcat RC. That way you would end up with a more decent vehicle for the price and have parts availability.

For that money, you can buy a 2WD rustler, granted brushed but unlimited parts support and insane upgradability. There's also thousands of youtube tutorials on the Rustler. Also keep in mind, if you're tired of it, a Traxxas vehicle has a much better resale value.

Arrma 3S BLX trucks are considered 1/8 scale not 1/10. Unfortunately the DEERC 200E is absolute junk with tons of false claims like "oil filled shocks" and "37mph top speed". Good review nonetheless!
