Lots of interesting tidbits in that video I didn't know. I think Mark's videos tend to have a lot more educational value than many I watch. I haven't grown onions in years but I think I'll plan on doing some next year. They are so much fun to harvest.

This is another great video, Mark! Proper and adequate curing is THE ANSWER to storing home-grown onions long term. We've enjoyed Vidalia Onions (Yellow Granex) that I've grown, properly cured and stored up to NINE months after the April harvest at our South GA farm. Try that with a rushed-to-market, store-bought onion! :-)

Hi Mark! Great video, very good technique with the drying, storing and also i love they way you can put them on a string like that, I will keep that in mind when i have the onions ready next year. Thank you for a great video and hope you're doing well. We are having a great weekend the weather is warm and sunny today and tomorrow with temps in the low 70's it feels like spring already :) Best Gabriel

@@marksgardenlife5971 Hey, that was humorous. I chuckled. omg, so exciting both of those! Im like a KZbin gardening video nerd that I'm so excited about that. I'm sure I'm not the only one. So you know, I'm only in my second year (and doing surprisingly well thank goodness), so even though I started the onions I just didn't know when to put them in the ground. I'm not going to get any bulbs this year. I mean onions are complex and gardening has a learning curve. That's why I'm so grateful for gardening videos. I have been killing it on the bunching onions, though.
