I picked up the Masada recently, and as expected, it's a great handgun. Folks need to remember that the Israelis make their weapons for their military as well as police and security forces. They have enemies on all sides of them, so their weapons need to be rugged, reliable and accurate.... and they are. Their very lives and existence as a country depends on it. The Israelis take good designs and make them better. I have a Desert Eagle, which is a hand held tank, a Jericho 941 PSL, and now the Masada. IWI has never disappointed me. Thank you for your honest review, I subscribed.

So, this video is one of the reason I chose to get a Masada over other standard size 9mm pistols - and I have to say, it's one nice gun. The one big issue I have is the stiffness of the slide release, but I'm hoping that will loosen up a bit over time - and the stiffness of the mag springs, but an Uplula helps there.... Overall, 100% reliable with the various ammo I've put it through, and I keep the mags loaded for home defense with IWI's hollow points. Because, why not?

Bought the masada and have put 500 rounds through it. I am a ole Glock guy and love my Glocks, but let me say this Masada is a fantastic shooter and extremely comfortable to shoot. Something worth noting is that IWI builds military rifles whereas Glock does not. Not to take anything away from Glock because it’s an outstanding firearm, but IWI has an impressive battle harden resume as well. Would be a great choice. Contrary to other opinions the Masada sized handgun is very easy to carry concealed unless you are in a hot climate where people don't wear heavy clothing. @AOMartialArts4 жыл бұрын
@@Nick-wn1xw Ok. That's fair. The Masada is actually fine to carry but it's bigger so it will need a belt and a solid holster. The bigger the gun, the better the holster needs to be and you're limiting clothing selection.

I held off on buying the Jericho hoping to run across a Magnum Research model that actually says Desert Eagle on it but could never find one in a gun shop.. I just collect guns. The Jericho is a little bit too big and heavy to be carrying around in my waistband.. I leave it at home in my safe with all my other firearms I don't use. I've fired 1 mags worth of ammo thru it and put it away I carry a Springfield XD9 subcompact but I'm already looking into getting a new, nicer handgun to keep on me. Possibly a VP9 subcompact if they even make them in that size. I have no H&K handguns yet. I really want a subcompact hammer fire handgun. Something with around a 3 inch barrel. I might get a Beretta PX4 Storm subcompact since that fits what I want. It's the only subcompact hammer fire handgun that I can think of off the top of my head besides mini 1911s.. @@phasar1 , Your laughter is either due to wishful thinking or ignorance. As long as the Left continues to sow division, especially along the lines of race; the potential for armed conflict will exist. All that's needed is a spark. During Hurricane Harvey, social media was rife with stories of White men, pretending to be part of the rescue effort; but taking advantage of the chaos to assassinate Blacks. It was an unfounded claim, but it was enough to cause some Blacks to hide when rescuers arrived; and in rare cases, to shoot at rescuers. Late for comments but, Glock is the king of polymers because they went with a very strong campaign when the came out, it paid for them, lot of people love them. I personally don't like Glock just for a little detail, grip angle, it doesn't point naturally when you draw quickly, but that's just me. Built wise, there is no difference between these two, one is not better than the other, the best gun is the one you shoot the best. The Masada has clues from other manufacturers and after looking at it closely, taking the slide off, you have the APX, which in my view is the most comfortable gun I own, VP9 close second. Now, the Masada looks extremely promising, yet to handle one, it is on my wishlist and the price is right.

Aren’t all these companies just reinventing the wheel? Not saying the Glock is the best. Not saying it’s not. I’m just saying Glock seems to be the yardstick all these other polymer pistols are compared to them. The Glock has s a time proven design & they aren’t that expensive if you shop around. If saving $75 0r $100 is that big of a deal, then get whatever you want. There is always room for improvement & competition in any industry. Glock is just so common & parts & accessories are so plentiful, it’s just incredibly practical to have at least one. But guns are like potato chips, you can’t have just one. If some were to ask me what handgun would be a good choice if you were only gonna have one, Love it or hate it, it’s hard not to recommend a Glock 19.

I think your comparison would be more accurate if you compared the Masada with either the Glock 19 or the Glock 45.

If I had the time and money I would put IWI engineers with H&K engineers and come out with the best guns known to man.

IWI can be had for just over $400 new, new Glocks are generally $450, unless you get blue line pricing.

Got my CZp10 suppressor ready for 400 and that is with shipping, better then both these guns in my opinion , trigger on CZ is much better, very short reset on CZ p10

Grip angle compared to Glock and Sig P320?
@NoNameX452 жыл бұрын
IWI Masada over Glock 17 all day every day. Trigger is better, grip is better, grip texture is better, sights are (metal) better, fully ambidextrous is better, modular is better and I look forward to additional grip frames. IWI seems to have taken the best features of several manufacturers and made a 21st century pistol. Glock is, well, Glock, updates haven't changed the basic premise, still, I'm a Glock fan and my carry gun is a 19. Empty the Masada is only about two ounces heavier....but with the updates, its a bargain. And, the price is excellent.

Why not compare to the Glock MOS?

what next glock vs shitty taraus !!
@darnit19445 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the Masada should be compared to Glock 19x or Glock 45. Shorter barrel, full size grip/magazine.

I got one for 399 bucks. My only complaints are that magazines are literally impossible to get, the trigger creeps way too much for me and the screws that the optics plates come with are hot garbage. Wish it was glock compatible for magazines.
