I LOVE this, I have been to Rye on each of my seven trips to the UK. Rye is my favorite place in all of the UK!!! I had no idea that Rye had "Bonfire Night" until I read a book recently about E.F. Benson that was published by the Martello Book Store in Rye many years ago!!! Of course, I had known about Bondfire Night in Lewes for many, many years. I hope there is an effigy of "the guy" on top of the bondfire!!! I hope to visit Rye again very soon!!!
