Hammond knows better than to assume someone is just seeing things. He's seen too much!

Love Gen Hammond's awesome command presence. Along with Dr. Weir of Atlantis, Hammond was the best
@sketerpot4 ай бұрын
The actor playing him used to work at the Pentagon, and he just tried to act like the generals who were his co-workers. Really well done.

Can you do one of every time Hammond flexes that he knows the president or uses the red phone to call the president?

Must be annoying to work at NORAD and get a classified "Code 5" and getting stuck within the NORAD complex. (NORAD is situated above the Stargate command complex but utilize the same big double blast doors for entry)

Love this, the one thing that is missing is the code blue alarm from season 1
@Firespark77 ай бұрын
Isn't code blue generic medical language for a heartattack?
@egoalter12765 ай бұрын
Code blue is US emergency services code for any medical situation requiring advanced life support. Most commonly reanimation, sometimes indeed because of a heart attack.

I'm kinda missing the self destruct alarm from S5 E19 where Carter and Hammond activate the self destruct. Okay, its basicly the Code 3 Panic Button alert only a bit slower but its still its own alert.

One thing Stargate does well is make their people look competent. They do a better job than star trek imo.
@Molly-ey6lq2 ай бұрын
Any other sci fi show when someone claims they see something no one else can, you get the usual runaround in Act 1, "are you sure you saw something? Are you feeling ok?". In Stargate, Gen Hammond immediately takes it seriously and orders a lockdown.

I love how SG1 Characters arent dumbasses. Everyone knows better than to dismiss wierd stuff and they are all attentiv always. It also ads to the realism that this is something build up over seasons. Where in the beginning "I saw something no one else here saw" would have ended in that person getting to the infirmary at best, in the later seasons everyone is immediatly on alarm because they have seen to much to be stupid. This show is so amazing
