Ran into the guy who bought the local ZX4RR we played, he had more fun because I was on my ZX6R yea my bike is way faster but on the streets where most of us ride little inline 4 soundtrack can't be beat IMHO.

Sounds great. I'm fairly certain I'll buy a zx4r at some point. Still pinching myself that Kawi made a new 400cc i4. More amazing still - it's actually coming to North America. Steel frame, gimped tune (in North America), and highish price are all negatives, but I don't think it's enough to thwart my desire. Poster bike for living life over 10k RPM. And that's a good thing.

Years ago I’m sure before your time they used to race 400 cc super bikes in Japan. Everybody had one Kawasaki, Suzuki Honda and I really love the GSXR 400 not exactly beginner bikes. Once you tune them I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner they could get hurt really fast on the track they’re not much lower than a 600

Yea it was before my time but I've heard the stories and have always wanted one. So happy we finally have them back and hopefully it isn't a fad. The only reason I think the 4rr is acceptable as a beginner bike is the hinder in power and I think that is cool cause the upgrade potential as you grow with the bike is so vast

Back in the day when I stayed in Japan, a friend of mine’s had a GSXR 400 with a full Yoshimura exhaust system. That thing was a beast will stick right with a 600 on the track. also, everybody made a 750 I really miss those.

I just found a graves exhaust. It's on the way. Also saw a guy who put the whole Akropovic exhaust system from the zx25r on his. He wants 1700 bucks for it. He was kind of a snob and said graves probably just modified theirs with a universal. Also said he is "exclusive race". 😅 Regardless, super stoked to get my slip on. Please keep the vids coming.

Well Graves was dyno'd on ZX6R against competitors like Sparks, Yoshi, Akra & it performs slightly better b/c Graves has a lot of R&D for optimal performance.

Nice dude, not that I’ve noticed after the install. The low rpm’s have have always been a little buggy to me I credited the drive by wire for that, but I could be wrong

YES!! it sounds like you can just send it in or wait till the FTECU comes out. With the FTECU we can just an unrestricted tune on it and get the HP and Torque that it's supposed to have.

It's a program with adapters for motorcycles to adjust the ecu parameters. You can do a lot to the point where you can do a lot of damage if you don't k ow what your doing. But it has unrestricted tunes and take away manufacture restrictions

Sounds amazing. I wouldn’t waste your time with trying to get the ECU flashed as I don’t believe it can be done yet. Plus you’ll throw your warranty out the window. Luckily it already improves the performance, also reduces the weight. The sound is key. Nice job. 👍😎🇦🇺

@@ScoutsOut what do you mean the titles? If the edit isn’t incorrect abd you didn’t do anything else in between its KZbin. That’s a very weird mistake for KZbin to make though, actually I’m not sure it’s even possible in this context. Did you add the text with a separate program or something? KZbin didn’t change the number of the db for the exhaust that’s for sure…so yea there’s no words where that’s even possible tbh The Ives you could conceive of a way that could happen but not the db number. You can upload it again as a unlisted video to test it out and see what it did but it looks more like a editing issue, maybe uploaded from the software before saving the final edit or before the final edit was finished rendering or something ? And don’t worry everyone has these issues especially early on

I just had a Power-commander 5 installed on my race motorcycle, it did wonders for the output and plugged a huge hole in the power-band. Personally I wouldn’t do this to a street motorcycle, because we never know what crazy law changes might happen.

Yea that's close man I'm 5'10 200 and it fits me but it's debatable for you. You will need to sit on it for sure. You can always get a different seat rearsets and clipons too so you could make it fit

​@@richardbranton190 I'll be turning 60 this year and I'm thinking of a ZX-4RR too. I'm glad the riding position looks quite comfortable, more like a Ninja 400 than a Supersport ZX-6R or 10R. This will be my first sport motorcycle, I've ridden dual sports for years so maybe it's better that Kawasaki tuned the power down for me, until I get used to it.😉 Once comfortable with the bike I can reflash the ECU for the extra 20 horsepower.

Yea it does, it's hard to beat the sound of an inline 4, I would agree with twins sounding bad especially the 180 crank ones with an exhaust but my r7 with the 270 crank and full exhaust sounds good imo

yea I think it will to, our US bikes go to the 16K but loose power after 11.5 so fixing that and a full exhaust and map were going to break the 80hp I think
