Yeah it’s so stupid nintendo doesn’t let you plug it in directly. You basically have to convert it from usb c to hdmi and back to usb c. 🤦‍♂️

With the set up required, you might as well just use the switch as it’s made. The steam deck is excellent though. I ordered mine today and it’s supposed to arrive a little later today since Amazon has same day delivery for it.

If you can still play the switch in handheld mode if you disengage the joycons and slightly move them up. Better if you are using the satisfye grips.

When you Connect the Nintendo switch to these glasses , Does the switch go in Docked Mode ??? The fact that the console is connected to the glasses to usbc ...maybe can make switch thinks It is a monitor , consequently the switch goes in Docked Mode giving us the full graphics performance/resolution... Am i Right ?? Could you confirm It please ?? Also if you use the Switch adapter you showed, Will work the xreal adapter continuously? (Its Tiny battery of 2600mah wont last) Right??? Unfortunately, if you plug the glasses directly into the switch NOTHING happens. the switch doesn't go to docked mode unless it also receives power input. the glasses have no battery so there is no power input, hence all the dongles. it's really not worth using on the switch unless you're at home or in a car where the dongle mess won't be quite as irritating to deal with. It's a similar but different issue with the steam deck. the glasses work with the steam deck directly, but the battery on the deck doesn't last much longer than an hour. it really needs to be able to be charged at the same time which requires dongles again. There isn't a single dongle that I've found yet that can do it

yeah, it requires too much "STUFF" to get it to work on the switch. all the required dongles are janky and removes all portability benefits.

Regarding the 16:9 which gives us the full virtual screen 130" of the Air Glasses ... STEAM DECK has 16:10 aspect ratio screen so...that means that games Will not get the 130" of the Air Glasses screen??? Will appear the black bars at the top and the button of the virtual screen? Maybe, if in game settings you select 16:9...Will Fix It to get the 130"??? Could any Steam deck Owner check and confirm this please?? Thank you

these glasses are awesome but the main issue is being able to charge the device and use the glasses at the same time. there just isn't a great way to do it. I've managed to get my phone to wirelessly charge while connected to the glasses and that's more or less fine. It's good enough to watch in bed for several hours but it's less comfortable because you have to be conscious of pulling the phone off the charge mat. The steam deck battery doesn't last very long so it really needs to be plugged in if you want to play longer than an hour. I haven't found a single adapter that incorporates USB-C power with a USB-C video input/output. Everything I've tried so far requires at least two dongles and HDMI cables. it's jank and aggravating.

Is there any way to make the screen not fixed when playing with my switch / steam deck on it???? What i mean is, my screen is now fixed or rather headlocked and when i move my head, the screen moves wich i really dont like because any slight head movement kinda distorts the image, is there a way to make the screen fixed in space so when i move my head the screen wont move with my head???????? Sadly, i cant download nebula in my country since its not supported here... >< so i dont know if there is a software option, or a button press but rn i tried all buttons together, separate ect... and all i could find is the volume change... :D

Do you actually need the power bank for the Switch setup? Seems unnecessary. Edit: Just got the adapter and I can confirm that without the power bank, the Switch refuses to connect to the glasses.

@@Rizky-Gumilar Nintendo at least owns most of the IP they profit off of. Don’t worry, the Switch 2 will punch well above its weight especially with DLSS. Xbox has some of that 3rd party support but still sucks. Nintendo will be just fine. And the steam deck will never do as well as the Switch. It’s nice but annoying due to its shortcomings. A “portable” that large with a battery that weak is a joke.

@@Rizky-Gumilar Analyst also thought the Switch would flop just because there are more powerful offerings. But not only did it not flop, it leads all console sales, despite being much less powerful than its competitors. People are hungry for a more powerful Switch. I don’t see it failing.
