Kripal sir. I have been a huge fan of yours and mark weins since long . Though you cannot take Mark to any parts of the north Karnataka becoz of yours and his schedule and itinerary. But do take him to relish on Some Savaji khanavalis, girmitt , and Manddal vagrini , mirchi bajji around malleshwaram and rajajinagar . That is the sense with which Kripalji is introducing Mark to the rich culinary heritage of the country..his sense of pride when he describes the food to Mark is almost fatherly..

Ive tried all these hyped places including the Veena stores in Malleswaram. Agreed, it tastes good there after standing in the queue for a while. Just pack it and take it home. You will agree that your home idlis and chutneys which your wife makes are far better

Although i m a great fan of Bangalore Thindi offerings but this melt in mouth idly doesn't appeal to me much as I m more inclined towards Tamil style idly or even in Bangalore we get soft idlis but a Lil bite is there ....Like in ID chain in Tamilnadu that's my favourite or even sarvana or Sangeetha but I liked Brahmins too infact more than Veena s ( my post is in no way to discriminate between states just my personal preferences on softness of idli)
