One of the best meals I ever had in my life was in Senora Mexico. My friend Ralph and I were driving down to Mazatlan and we we hungry. There was a small sign off the highway pointing up a small road, and numerous Rancher SUVs were turning up the road so we followed. At the end of the road was a restaurant (not a stand) and it was packed for lunch. I ordered the Tampeqenio, which is a skirt steak with an enchilada on the side, plus rice and beans and flour tortillas. Man was it delicious. I dream of that meal over and over again. But I don't think I could find the restaurant again - so it was a one-time deal... a glorious one-time deal. Leading to a delicious memory.

It’s Sonora, and let me tell you my friend that we have the best meat in the world, and I can tell you because I have been in Argentina and I had tried that beautiful Argentinian steak but even with that in mid I can tell you that the Sonora’s steaks are the top one in the world, but that’s a matter of farm because we have so much space for won and the quality of the grass in the desert makes the meat so tasty. Congratulations man you can tell to your friends that you have tried the best meat in the world.

My favorite place was Carnitas Uruapan, just down the street from the greyhound racetrack. Bought by the kilo, it came with a stack of tortillas as long as your arm, and a huge tray of onions, tomatoes, cilantro and radishes, to make your own tacos. I'm glad you finally tried Chile de aciete! It literally translates to chili oil and it can range from mild to fairly spicy, like if you use Chile de árbol, but same nice roasted chile taste regardless of spice level. Some people put peanuts in there too. It's one of my favorite toppings for a lot of foods, not only Mexican.
