The salad was invented by a Italian Named Caesar Cardini was born in 1896. As expected, it's a little difficult tracing someone's life so long ago. However, an advertisement from Cardini's restaurant in 1919 suggests he moved to California in the 1910s.

Was at this restaurant a few weeks ago. Got the ceaser salad which is great by the way, oysters Rockefeller, and Beef Wellington. Spent maybe $50 after the Tip and Valet. It used to be a place where Americans came to have a good meal and drink during prohibition. Ran by an Italian family back in the day.

It's a fine dining restaurant near the border so all you see is retired Americans, business people, Mexican families that are well off, and maybe a few Younger American couples that are exploring around. You're taste buds probably prefer olive garden, so stick to that.
