my husband is from Jordan and I also lived there for a year. beautiful country just in a sad location. if we could take our income from here to there I would.move back in a heart beat. the people, the food, the culture I lived right in Jarash and also in Amman. we lived with his parents in Jarash. oh how I miss Jordan. we are praying for the day we can take our son to meet his teh teh and Jido. Zaatar is actually Thyme,not a mix of herbs,we add baked sesame seeds to it,but the word Zaatar alone means Thyme,
