I catch at the top and simultaneously go into a squat and continue the sequence as you demonstrate. Lots of variations. ty!

Back to the real world work relationship KB has - this reminds me of loading bales (coils) of twine used for baling hay. They weigh between 30 - 60 lbs. we would lift from a pallet to load into the truck and carry to the field. If it was one of the 60 lbs we added a squat thrust at the end to heave it high enough to clear the side of the truck. This looks very cool.

I’ve come within a couple of millimetres of watching my dentist Scrooge McDuck it through my savings a couple of times when doing this one. Fear of agonising facial injury is a fantastic way to get you to shift your weight back into your heels if your apt to tilt forward though

I like the reference LOL. For as big a deal Scrooge made out of his Number One Dime every time he lost it and that he was strong enough to swim in his money vault daily, you know the dude was taking it to his customers LOL

Excellent tutorial. I'll have to try it but I suspect that if you start to tip the handle towards your face on the clean up, it's definitely most likely a technique thing, but I'd also think if I loaded the adjustable kettlebell with weight plates, I might want to check if the weights are properly balanced. Probably don't want to load the weight plates all at the top or all at the bottom of the bell.

Nice. Love working out in the desert… Walk,jog, sprint. Follow with 25 Hindu / Nose Dive pushups. Get up and keep these intervals for 5 miles…. Awesome.

How do you go about putting this exercise into a program?? Something technical at the start of a workout, like olympic lifts in barbell training.? Looks like exercise you would do while still fresh.
@theradioactiveboar Жыл бұрын
I do this with a dumbbell because its the setup for a goblet squat, and that has the safety advantage of being caught lower and not having a handle that swings at your face.

I meant to say double KB. I got confused by the title. Last week I had asked if you had planned on releasing double kb videos to this series.

Is there any point in doing this with mouth guard? Or is the amount of the force too much?
@MarkWildman Жыл бұрын
I don’t use a mouth guard, but if you are a martial artist, then certainty. Breathing and enduring with a mouth guard is a skill unto itself

Better method is to do a proper clean and catch the bell at the bottom of a squat, just looks lazy the way you're doing it
