Ep 12 | SIGNAL INTERRUPTION - Let's Play XCOM 2: War of the Chosen

Facing multiple Advent operations working to advance their effectiveness against the Resistance, XCOM has received a tip from an anonymous source on the location of an active psionic network relay that is vulnerable to attack. The source turns out to be Chipo Mabaso, a former XCOM operative from the invasion war.

Private Journal, Squaddie Evans May 15, 2035 You make one crack about Templars in the bar and suddenly you're on detached duty "improving relations" in a whole camp of the finger-waving mystics. Command had me tagging along when they went to raid some old pre-invasion lab over in Sweden. Gotta say, those guys are fearless. Just chopping their way through rubble and fallen beams without a care for little things like "structural integrity." It's a damn good thing they sent Donny along, because he stopped me from walking into a room with no floor. Still, there was some really interesting stuff in there. The Templars salvaged some tech, and even gave us some, which would give us a big head start if we built some new lab facilities on the Avenger. I also came across a working terminal. The psychics didn't care much for it, so I poked around, and got some very clever little programs. Some of the algorithms are adaptive, which might be a big help in cracking ADVENT encryption. Going to have to see if I can use it. Word is Command is planning something big. We're about to stop reacting to ADVENT and take the fight to them. About time.

There was some sort of weird crackling noice twice around 2:00, dont know if it's just me but thought I'd let you know. Still, great video man

I appreciate the heads up, and I am very aware of it. You'll hear that noise a few times throughout this episode. What that is, is my cell phone sitting on top of the microphone cable for my mic, and the recording picking up signal interference as my phone received messages and transmitted data. Caught it after this episode, that won't happen on any future ones. Sorry for the annoyance.
