Many moons ago I used a Winchester Model 94 .30-.30 with a side mounted scope for deer hunting. it was usually loaded with Remington or Winchester 170 grain purchased at one of the local big box stores. It put a lot venison in the freezer and on the table over those years. The .30-.30 with 170 grain ammo proved to be a terrific match up for hunting in heavily wooded and brushy areas. With a well placed shot, one was all that was needed...it's a good round for sure! Enjoyed the demonstration, it was nice to a .30-.30 featured on a gun channel! Tale care and stay safe my friend!

One minor problem with lever action rifles is the barrel band being excessively tight affecting accuracy and bullet drift . papa wishing you well 😊

All of my 30-30 rifles like the 170s over 150s. Thats between an Browning 1885 , a Marlin model 36 , a 94 trapper , a 94 rifle 24" and a new Marlin Ruger 336 trapper. I don't even look at any other weight boolits for 30 wcf. Thanks

Good group in the 170 grain. I got a 30-30 Winchester made 1905. Check it next time I head to the country. May be a difference in my rifle😮

I use federal hammer down when I hunt up north. Bonded soft point and man they’re nice 👍🏼🇺🇸 was curious if you were going to test those aac 762 ? I’d love to see a accuracy test and to see if they’re still not seating the rounds to proper spec 🤷🏼‍♂️
