Lord Magnus, I'd say come on down to Palm Beach County. About 2 and 1/2 hr drive. We have great bottom fishing. Also, consider going to Crystal River. DMFD has fished there, he's got two videos from it. Check out Captain Blake from Hang Em High Sportfishing from the Plantation at Crystal River. Stay healthy, and enjoy the Sunshine State, my home state too 😊

@@jartv2390 I was simply referring to ths fact that the great Steve Irwin was probably one of the most genuine, kind people on the planet, and that Gordon might have the shortest fuse and quickest temper on the planet. Made my daughter laugh picturing a guy with both those personalities. That's all I meant. And R.I.P. to Steve. A lot of people are complimented after their death, but Steve was loved worldwide already and always will be. So happy his Robert and Bindi have made his life's work their own. I worked on a charter boat in Kona, HI every day for three years after graduating high school. One of the craziest catches was in 1989 while trolling a small king king lure thru a school of skipjack tuna we use for live bait with a bridle rig. A 76 lb striped marlin jumped on. Caught him using straight 20 lb Ande mono line. Incredible, very true story. Great catch! Great video! Thanks for sharing, Rob!!! EDIT: Please show the marinating & smoking footage. Smoked marlin is absolutely amazing and addictive. lol

Been going to Mexico 20 years. In most area's the locals don't release the fish. They sell them for money or eat them. Smoked Marlin is great. I wouldn't release a billfish for money. A lot of Americans tell people sailfish don't taste good. They taste as good as marlin ! I don't throw back sailfish and I don't throw back bass. It defeats the purpose of fishing.
