Roberto, haha. I live on the North Shore of Kauai where I see amazing stuff everyday but with COVID and all that comes with it. Any place can get depressing and hopeless. YOU, Gabe and ALL Y’all’s family and crew are bringing life and goodness to millions who watch your channels. I grew up fishing the Southern California coastal waters from Mexico to the channel Islands with my father. We always had beautiful boats Fish from from the time I was five or six years old. Learned how to hunt with a shotgun when I was about 10 years old he used to go up to Central California where we would hunt pheasants and Canadian geese in the barley and Millet fields. Getting out on the water here on island is a lot more difficult if you don’t have a boat and of course way expensive but every now and then I try to get out there, but watching you guys has kept me sane And eager to make my own adventures once again. May God bless you protect you and keep all of you through these uncertain times. Amen 🤙🏾😎🤙🏾

Thanks I haven't read anything but after hearing Rob call out flounder I had to go to comments to see what was said. I grew up in Southern California and was always amazed on how good the fishery is in northeast for these fish (fluke is what I believe they're called) but literally the same genus. But in that region I'd definitely call that a California halibut

@@over1498 Dude! I was ready to argue with you until I was blue in the face but I read up on it just in case you were right. Guess what? You're right! I've lived here all my life and not once have I ever heard anyone call it a California Flounder but apparently wikipedia has. I still will never call it a flounder because a flounder has a more rounded body and a rounded tail. The California Halibut has a triangular tail that more resembles the pacific halibut, it's much more popular cousin. Hali for life!😁

I love your videos same goes for your brother and Kelly's. What I want you to understand is that you could take this same trip in 6 months and I would watch all the videos. You guys probably struggle/ worry at times with finding new things to show us but honestly I could watch you guys doing the same things over and over again.

Always awesome videos from DM4D and blue gave, never ever seen one that was bad or offending or boring in anyway shape or form, just can’t even fathom why the 35 people gave this video the thumbs down! There probably just jealous while rob and Gabe are just so appreciative of everything they have. Anyways just sayin they don’t deserve the thumbs down what so ever, best content on KZbin in I’m opinion!👍👍👍

Over here in northern germany we catch flounders also but sometimes ... a little different. Its a tradition to go out there when the tide is low and you walk barefoot until you step on one. The goal ist, to hold the foot down and grab it right out of the water. They say they heard grown men shriek like a little girl because it feels similar to getting an electric shock, when the flounder tries to escape. I never had the pleasure to watch this by myself though.
