Not just during my stroke. Austin and I spent a lot of time together and he’s like a family member!! He and I can go film a show and never say a word to each other. He’s a great guy! We have a great friendship!

Im 59 and spent all my life fishing the Chesapeake bay and the ocean. Never had the opportunity to catch a marlin or eat it .I wonder what it taste like . Might never know. I guess thats how rare it is . Good job guys. This video hit me right where I like it. The heart.

Nice fish guys!!! Way to go Austin....I screwed up and threw a fly to one last summer that was hot on a teaser and 30 min latter I was questioning myself and finding out iam not the ply young man I used to be. That fish took me to the limit. Happy to say got a clean release and a tag In a approximately 250 blue.. Then an hr latter released a 400 lber on stand up. I was not right for a week.

It hurts so good Austin! Great job. When I was younger I caught a 450lb. Blue Marlin had a nice reel but fought it in a fold out chair an had no belt. Hour an a half later it also died an me an the wife gave it to an orfanage an the little kids got to come see me in the boat before we cleaned her. It was sad after it died but We got to see some very happy kids an teachers.

I was in Los Ombues Lodge in Argentina to hunt dove and fish Dorados while watching DMFD on the couch and suddenly 2 guys came over and said I recognize Rob's voice from DMFD. It was Tim Wells and His son Clint Wells. It was the greatest day ever. We didn't get to hunt with him because they were busy filming for their KZbin channel which is understandable. It's what pays the bills. We did get to eat with them which was incredible. All that was missing was Rob and Blue Gabe. It would have been Epic!
