Yet another really cool gun that I have never had the privilege to handle. Thanks for sharing it with us. Your intros to the episodes just keep getting better, this one had me on the edge of my seat.

Milsurp Garage, I had a neighbor who used to talk about his Marlin magnum. I just assumed it was a 39A . He might have had this model.👍😎🙏🏽✌🏻🇺🇸

Very well might be......these were the first lever action in WMR I believe.

Thanks for showing it in action. That motion is super short.
@MilsurpGarageАй бұрын
Yes, and that footage was the first shots I took with it. After getting the footage I shot some more and started getting more comfortable with it and the movement got smoother and I got in a groove with it making it feel like an even shorter throw! Really nice.

When I was a kid, two of my friends had these rifles. They still liked my rifle though, an old Remington model 12 pump! GREAT vid,my Dude! 👍

Have not seen one of those in a while. This morning I snagged a Remington model 33 at the local shop.

I have the 56 in 22lr and 57 in 22lr. I had a 57m but sold it some time ago

Saw your videos….pretty cool. You will like my next few videos!

They were very expensive rifles in their day. $75 in 1966 is equivalent to $728.69 today.
@MilsurpGarageАй бұрын
I feel like $728 was equivalent to $75 three and half years ago.

@MilsurpGarage I hear ya. Hopefully the election fixes that

I see 57m’s often but the 56 and 57 in 22lr are quite scarce
@MilsurpGarageАй бұрын
They made a few less LR versions but I think they get “held onto” a bit more. I notice that WMR chambered firearms get turned over more so we see more on the used market.

THere was a model 62 in .30 carbine too

Are the receivers the same version? Is one of them aluminum?

Can't watch it to many ads
@MilsurpGarageАй бұрын
It's something we have to deal with on KZbin. If I do not monetize then youtube makes no ad revenue so they do not recommend or promote the videos I make and nobody sees them. It has a business aspect to it here and ad revenue on popular videos drives the viewership and promotes the channel. You can go youtube premium....it's not expensive and comes with youtube music, background player.....and, yes, no ads. I love it. KZbin is 90%of my screen watching entertainment....with no ads. When I was a kid, TV had long constant breaks of ads....it was just how it was.

@@MilsurpGarage well I'm a old Nam vet and I remember a commercial or three on the two channels that we got at the ranch growing up 🤣
