Marlin (MPCNC) Joystick

This is a 'dumb' joystick that contains only passive components, no smarts. I've implemented reading as a modification to Marlin. The code has been accepted into Marlin and should be just a matter of enabling it.

That's awesome. I have a SKR 1.4 Board. Is this implementation already working or do I need to update the firmware somehow? Ideally I want to control all 3 axis with a joystick simultanously, would that be possible?

There is any way to change the analog input to digital? Because I have a joystick that is "open or close" on its output (digital not analog)

The best source of information is a thread on the V1 Engineering forum forum.v1engineering.com/t/joystick-managed-by-marlin/10863 that contains information on how to wire to RAMPS (or RAMPS-like) and Rambo.

Good Afternoon, would it be possible to hire you to add joystick support to an SKR1.3-1.4 board? I tried following the instructions you have, but its seems that its geared only for RAMPS. Please let me know. I'll be checking comment section. Thank you kindly.

I don't have a SKR 1.3 or 1.4, and I don't have plans to get one, so I'm not in a position to help much. But fortunately other people have gone and implemented this on SKR 1.3, and described their experience here: forum.v1engineering.com/t/joystick-managed-by-marlin/10863 . You will need to dig through the posts to get to the parts relevant for you, but I believe all the information is there.

I submitted this to Marlin and it is now part of the official Marlin codebase.
