Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

Yeah I second what D Rath said. No fish species in the world is as interesting as Salmon are if you factor in their entire lifecycle and how they shape entire ecosystems. More fun facts: Kokanee are an introduced species here in CT. They're terrified of rainbow trout; a steelhead will eat two adult kokanee per day. A 1" spoon with rainbow trout colors will spook them and you won't catch squat. As the freshwater-only variety, they don't get as large. While they do sometimes eat shrimp, filter feeding zooplankton is about 99% of their diet. How do we catch them? Well, they're *ssholes. They harass and beat up smaller fish when they encounter them. Kokanee can and will follow, harass, and beat up your bait for miles when trolling. They strike quicker if you tip your bait with marinated sweet corn that smells like zooplankton. Yeah, they're *ssholes. Best fun fact ever.
@Kehy_ThisNameWasAlreadyTaken3 жыл бұрын
Fun, I live where they're native and protected. Sockeye are pretty intensely respected and protected as a major food source for both people, and the salmon-eating orca population. The introduced perch population is an issue with them, as the perch breed and eat them out of house and home.
