En plus, contrairement à toutes les marionnettes d hollywood d'hier et d'aujourd'hui, il avait une vraie conscience politique ! Il mettait son prestige au service de causes et non pour nous vendre une voiture ! Il avait ses travers, loin d être parfait mais il était parfait dans son imperfection ! I was actually looking for the clip of Mr. Brando in court speaking french to a victim's family. In the documentary I saw the way he spoke his gestures and the emotion he exuded you could really sense his empathy and sentiments just in the way he spoke.

when did the man learn french? he's really good for someone who's not speaking this as his first language, and who probably learnt it later in life..the accent's not great, but the pronunciation is good and he's pretty fast at understanding and replying

Marlon spoke French the same way he spoke English. Sometimes haltingly, somewhat absent-mindedly. He spoke both well, of course, but often seemed to have had to search for the next words. Again, he spoke English the same way, at least in interviews. Then again, he was an actor, perhaps the greatest of them all, so that could have been him affecting that absent-mindedness. Still, this is a treat, especially when the young miss and the baby approached.

De nos jours, le mot "génie" ou l'adjectif "génial" sont utilisés à l'excès. On caricature. On simplifie. N'oublions pas que le génie voisine avec la folie. C'est très important d'intégrer cette aspect-là. Brando était un personnage complexe, parfois aux limites de la folie, mais quel charisme! En interview, quand il ne répondait pas n'importe quoi à des questions idiotes, ce pacifiste convaincu ne perdait pas son temps. Il en profitait pour faire passer des messages politiques, contre le racisme en particulier. Il fallait oser à l'époque. Un acteur brillant qui a changé le cinéma à jamais.

y'a pas beaucoup d'Americain qui parle le Francais sans accent tellement prononcé. Mais lui, si on parle le Frncais avec lui sans connaitre sa nationalité, on pourrait se dire qu'il est Allemand ou Anglais ou meme de pays de l'est. Je connais un Chinous Uzbek qui a le meme accent que lui en francais. On fait il prononce son "R" correctement.
