How many people who covered up these crimes and allowed them to continue have been brought to account.

A public enquiry will look into why the government and police intentionally covered this up

This should of been a poll for public vote we should of made the decision

We already had an enquiry, the tories didn't carry out even one single recommendation from it.
@thefairhairedboywiththered295110 сағат бұрын
There was already a 7 year enquiry that cost 200 million . Sounds like more of a muck raking exercise to pin the blame on a party/:people you do not like rather than genuine concern for victims .

Marlon says the Jay report is 6 to 7 years old. It isn't. It was completed in 2022. I feel for him. The recommendations should be implemented

Bless him and his family. A Victim of government policy. Blaming the police Force isn't helpful when they are being handed policies to enforce were all stuck between a rock and a hard place with a government that just doesn't get the situation or isnt brave enough to be honest because they live in their own bubbles

How do labour plan to bring the people who willfully failed these children?? Punish anybody who talks about it?
@85ABC7 сағат бұрын
How random. Ed’s wife is literally the Home Secretary.. he does a good job but seems a little odd. Like a lot of things in this country we need to stop all the talking and have more actual action!
@michaelgriffiths57237 сағат бұрын
Stop playing dumb and defending Labour Ed! A statutory enquiry will compele these police officers, councils, and the people who are in the CPS who willfulky failed these children. As for that ex chief superintendent, all he wants is to protect his mates from accountability. He makes me feel sick! How many people in positions of power have felt the force of the law???
@chrysalis412610 сағат бұрын
We don't need another enquiry, we need some of the recommendations of the last one to be implemented.

@GeekLegionofDoom10 сағат бұрын
Surely you could do both ? You could implement recommendations from existing reports, whilst still going ahead with this specific enquiry
@robertaskew36779 сағат бұрын
Have you read the report? All I have heard that’s there very little,grooming gangs 1 , 5 towns could be up to 50, although the report admits failures by the people in charge ie councillors police social services,but no names, there is still a lot to do,but as someone mentioned they can start another report while enacting the said report!
