ITV weatherman Alex Beresford said these fires need three things, fuel, oxygen and ignition. He cited three sources of ignition, sun, lightning or people. He stated most are started by people. Given the mean temperature was 20C (room temperature) then that cannot be a source of ignition. That suggests that the fuel was already there. Wouldn't that be seen as a fire risk and be managed?

I left a few years ago also, Interestingly enough based on statistics the UK was the country with the most millionaires migrating in 2024 which is pretty crazy considering China has been #1 for many years in a row now. The problem is the fact that over 50% of people in the UK take out more in benefits than they pay in. No country can survive if the less than 50% of the population paying more in taxes than they take out keep getting hit for more.
