Do you happen to stumble across his acting in the series sweet tooth? He does an amazing version of the boxer in that series.

Thanks for this request. He has a great voice. Never heard of him but will be checking out more of his music. Definately reminds me of Elvis.

Lucky enough to see Marlon in concert in Civic Theatre Invercargill NZ, it was amazing his voice is breathtaking my teen who is in a choir loved it especially as he was also choir trained growing up in Canterbury New Zealand.

I first saw Marlon at the Metro in Sydney... backing up First Aid Kit. Since seen him sooo many times. If you want a gem, try Marlon with Florence and the Machine

You're correct, Marlon has had singing training which is why his pitch, breathing and general skill is so apparent

Please listen to Marlon sing O Holy Night . It is from Paul Kelly's Christmas Train album. He is superb and song has a haunting tone to it.

Wonderful, unique voice. He is very briefly in A Star is Born, singing Roy Orbison with Brandi Carlisle; Orbison is probably the best comparison for his voice, although Marlon's songs are all his own.

He also has a bit of a Roy Orbison sound. So much so that while Bradley Cooper was writing and recording A Star is Borne, he heard an NPR Concert feed of Marlon Playing and was so impressed he bought tickets to his show in town the following night. He managed to get an audience privately with him and got in a scene in the movie doing a Roy Orbison Trubute . Unfortunately most of Marlon's screen time was cut short much to Bradley's remorse. :-)

Great singer, love Marlon. 😘 His last album is really good and he's a humble but oh so talented singer on scene as well, tremendous. What a shame he's not more famous! Or what a chance because I was able to attend to a concert in a small venue.... I do wish him.more fame because he deserves it.
