Love the build! That's crazy fast! One thing that might help your 60-130 a lot would be eliminating that gear shift right around 125mph. Slightly taller gearing, or even maybe slightly taller tires might allow you to rev out to 130mph before shifting again, shaving off a decent amount of time. Also, like you mentioned, that 60-70mph range seems to be lagging on boost quite a bit. Still a remarkable time! Congrats!

Thank you. Taller tire is a possibility but I would think that would loose some acceleration? Eliminating gear changes is a great idea, may need to rev up to 8k but could be worth for the record/once and a while.

Your next point of focus should be working on getting some super high quality suspension under that thing, find a tire of your liking, and REALLLYYY get down and dirty with the 60ft and 330ft times. Knock down your first 330ft of a race and you’ll take entire tenths off your 1/4 time.

great job bro. for turbo engine can i route both valve cover port (PCV side and intake side) flow into one catch tank > top filter with one way valve > PCV > one way valve > intake manifold? kindly share your view on this. my valve cover only has 2 port. thank you in advance.

This car is insane, and amazing. I think Scott C below me has the right idea about getting rid of that last shift, and for the initial 60-70mph area I'm interested to see if you can tweak the tuning or do some sort of rolling antilag. Looking forward to seeing when you break into 2's

I came here to say the same thing, the whole point of rolling antilag/ 2-step is to spool up the turbos and make you launch much harder. It's basically just retarding the timing during spooling so most of the energy of the fuel burning is going into the exhaust, spinning up the turbos. Rolling antilag/ 2-step will make a night and day difference and could absolutely shave off a whole second. However it'll definitely help you find the next weakest part of your drivetrain, hopefully that's just your tire's grip. Another option could be to add a small shot of nitrous to get things going. A small improvement could be wrapping the exhaust manifolds, heat is energy and wrapping it will direct more heat into the turbos spooling them a bit faster. As for the timing what fuel are you using? With pump gas you need to be a bit more cautious but if you're using E85 it's much safer to advance the timing.

I think if you manage to find a way to build full boost by 4200-4400rpm/60mph (in whatever gear that was, 3rd?), that would cut close to a whole second off the 60-130. I wonder if rolling anti-lag or a baby shot of nitrous could help cut the spool time some more? Or maybe even the WOT box you have rn? Either way, I don't know anything, you got an awesome build and it's awesome to see the b5 platform and 01e's still being pushed to new limits. Great job!

I'm not a fan of that route as your always going to be limited to a specific rpm. To me not great for roll racing.

I may be wrong but i think ive seen sth like that in nissan 350z, where you could programm a button on steering wheel to do just that on any rpm you want
