@YTEdy2 ай бұрын
This happened to me, well, not with the lie. We had two plates that belonged to George Washington, (My half brother is a direct descendent of George Washington's brother) and the plates were passed down through generations. I had an appraiser look at them after my mom passed and they were late 19th century French. Either somebody told a lie, or, somebody stole the original plates and swapped them out . . . or similar mix-up. But the plates I'd been shown all my life were not what my mother thought they were. My mom didn't lie though. She thought they were legit. I like this theme though. Maybe I'll lie to my kids. hehe

That is not true. That is not true at all. There are people who have been lied to, con, tricked, and abused all their life. Because they are gullible and trusting. And it destroyed their life. They didn't do anything wrong. They believed the wrong people. It happens. It happens to some people more than others. And they do not deserve what happened to them. And they certainly don't deserve to be blamed for what other people did to them. This video is weird and wrong.
@airborngrmp13 ай бұрын
At a certain point that person needs to stop lying to themselves about their gullibility. That's the message, not that it's ok for everyone else to do it, but a certain point you are responsible for you - if you believe otherwise, you're lying to yourself.
@crystalcole8883 ай бұрын
@@airborngrmp1 children who believe lies are not gullible. They are at their most vulnerable, and being shaped and molded by monsters. The people closest to her lied to her and manipulated her her entire life. Most people don't ever figure it out. And even if someone is gullible enough to believe lies from con artists, the blame is still on the liar. You don't look at the victim as if They are to blame. It feels better to blame the victim. That way, the shop owner doesn't have to have any empathy or sympathy. And he gets to feel superior. As if he would be too smart to fall for the things that she did. That's how most people treat victims. And it's wrong.
