Everything she has done in this compilation that she claims is for her friends is actually to protect her own ego and insecurities. She wasn’t there for Lena’s character because she was the best friend. She demanded that Lena see her as her best friend because having that sort of power makes her forget about how ineffectual she is in other aspects of her life. I think the writing is pretty surface level but the performance and delivery is so uncannily sincere it brings the character to life.
