Always amazing to see how our memories about places match up or not with the changes a place underwent in our absence. It was lovely to see this.

Of course it’s a different story in the winter, you are right up by Ontario. I can’t believe that you saw the Ella F before she and her crew were lost. I’m excited to see the Victorian homes. We had an old dump across the road from where I grew up. We bottle hunted many times in it. I love museums in little towns. Enjoy your visit.

🌟The Victorian homes around Marquette are very beautiful most of the built around the mid 1800's,i just finished a walk on one of the oldest streets in Marquette.

🌟Not to bad here in Marquette but..... But they can be very pesky around the smaller lakes.

I enjoyed seeing the sights and your remembrances of the area. Have you considered donating some items to the Maritime Museum? I bet the museum would love to have some things from a native son who had such a distinguished naval career. My university's veterans museum took some stuff from me.

🌟Thank you very much for watching my video! I truly appreciate it. I donated many of my bottles to the Museum many years ago.
