The Kingdom of Morocco is a melting pot of art and culture, bringing together influences from all over the world and honouring them. It is a country of artisans and artists, craftsmen and designers and all that exist in between. Soumiya Jalal is one of the many artists that inhabit the land. Like many of the great ones, she takes inspiration from her own cultural heritage, filled with beauty and history, and infuses it into her art. Whether it is in terms of the patterns, the colours, or the very materials that she chooses, they all carry with them the undeniable identity of Morocco.

What a wonderful city Marrakech is! And there could be no better guide as Soumiya. It is new to me that Marrakech is so full of culture. The Musee Macaal is my favourite, the colours are so lively and enchanting, a real must see! Thank you for this great insight into these wonderful places. Well done! :-)

The country is so rich and there is so much more to say, but what we think really makes for its essence is the people, isn't it ? 😉 The Macaal museum is also one of our favorite places in Marrakech; There is just something about the brightness of the space and all the colors.
