It's a gauntlet of oppression! It's been 10 years since we started our process and my wife has her green card and she still has to be naturalized. I'm a veteran and I'm blind and I didn't know when I was jumping out of airplanes for my country that I was going to fall in love with an African woman...... If she was European she'd already be a citizen.

Your criminal record can not be expunged from the federal government. Immigration is federal.

I am an American and I want to get married to a Mexican resident. We have heard that there is a long process before she can cross when we get married or if she crosses she will not be able to go back to visit for like 7 years. My fiance is from Nigeria, we’ve known each other for 7 years, been in a relationship the entire time but he has lived in Turkey for 2 years, applied for permanence resident while there, stayed for 2 years,then went back to Nigeria, applied for student visa twice for here in US university , once from Turkey while he lived there and was denied both times, once in Canada was denied. I feel he has been flagged. But now 2 years later we want to get married. I want him here with me in the us. All these denials going to hurt us ?

Wow! So sorry about that. You can report him directly to USCIS. He’s not that smart, he needs a 10 year one and he will need to address the cause of your divorce. They might contact you also when he attempts to remove conditions.

You should tell all this to your attorney so he can report this and probably he will lose his green card. Google the closest Catholic charity near you, they can provide an attorney for free or very small amount of money. Good luck 🤞🏼
