I have to agree. We've watched a bunch of different couples, and Jonathan and Aaron are by far the most open and genuine. We do watch other vloggers, but a lot of them have something a little phony about them. No pretense with these guys. They're just more open and joke around and poke fun at each other.

I agree 💯 love this couple. The other couple I love is Dallas and Blue (sp?). But, there's something very phony about a certain gay couple that I won't mention that have a few kids. Their entire life, home and family are just too perfect and too good to be true.

@@curt5361 yeah I wouldn't publicly criticize anyone specific, I just figure not everyone is everyone's cup of tea. I've been married for over 28 years and can say that I am still in love with the woman of my dreams. Nothing is ever perfect but we work for each other, dealing with issues that exist with all people. Do we annoy each other at times? Of course. Do we have times when we would rather not deal with each other? Of course. But, after all these years together we know when it is time to take a little time for ourselves - while enjoying each other the rest of the time. I believe that for a relationship to be successful, there must be a shared vision and shared core values. If you don't have those, then there won't be much to hold onto or build with once the romance has worn off. To the singles, for now, rather focus on facing your inner demons, clearing your mind and healing your heart so that you have less baggage to sabotage your next relationship with. Also, if you do this type of clearing you would have stilled the hunger (desperation) in your heart so much that you won't just grab anyone to avoid being alone.
@ryanblack37572 жыл бұрын
Excellent advice I needed to hear. I was single for an embarrassingly long period of time. I latched onto someone who isn't right for me at all. We have different morals and values. There were alarm bells from the beginning but I chose to ignore them. I can't believe I let him treat me like that and put up with what I put up with. I deserve and need better. Time to learn to love myself more and push forward.
@quintonejantjies6802 жыл бұрын
@@ryanblack3757 it is beautiful and great that you learned from your past experiences and that you are able to identify your contribution to things not working out between you two. The thing is, you put up with, what you put up with, and what happened, happened. Realize that if you had a different mindset at the time, you would have handled things differently. So forgive yourself and promise yourself that you will take alarm bells more seriously in the future and then do that. Giving ourselves another chance to do things over or better is also self love; it shows how merciful we can be to ourselves.

First of all, where tf was Merlin in this video? No. This is unacceptable guys. Seriously. Anyway, I realised since the previous video that I am an idiot and all your books are available as e-books on amazon. I'm a little wary of buying stuff off amazon because I wonder how much people are being ripped off when they sell their stuff on such a big powerful platform like that, so do you guys get a fair percentage? If not, I'll buy the physical books but I'm trying really hard to avoid that. My library is becoming sentient I'm sure of it. Finally, this was an awesome video (like any of them aren't), but I have to say you guys have been *extremely* lucky. I've been doing all of the things you advised for years (standards? checklist? I'm considering homeless ex-con junkies at this point - I wish that were an exaggeration), I make reasonably good money, I'm smart, educated, reasonably attractive (nobody runs away scared, and I don't have that much trouble getting hookups), I'm a warm, decent, non-judgemental, kind person - but *still* single. I honestly have no idea what more I can possibly do but keep working on myself and waiting. Maybe some of us have to wait until we're too old to enjoy being in love to finally find it?
