@kizzyrock Жыл бұрын
Yes!!!! Truth is...many strong women need masculine men. A strong woman will literally run over ( unintentionally) a man who is not firm in his stance. Masculinity is not about money- Hence he didn't even have Money to fly to her...however his stance still remained. Also, he doesn't have to yell or belittle her to get his Point across.

We are still talking about this in many relationships. Men feel like they can conquer. If a man was able to still hold a place in your heart, they will not have felt they lost the war and the battle. People are exes for a reason. In close to 20 years, you’ll learn a lot. Keep holding each other down. I know about those late night calls, gotta set boundaries.

I don’t think that is an issue for him. He doesn’t appear concerned about “minor” occasions where she over talks him or speaks loudly during conversations. When the time matter, Trina is 🤐 and that’s what probably matters most in their marriage. She allows him to lead (her choice and desire). Both appear to be well aware of how/what they desire for their relationship. He’s well aware of who Trina is, but most importantly who he is!!

I was raised old school. We were taught values, manners, respect. You hold the door coming out of a store or anywhere someone is coming through. You gave your seat to a woman standing or an elderly person. Or someone who had a disability. You helped someone with their bags or heavy items their carrying. You knocked on doors before entering. Opened the car door, pulled out the chair. Helped you with your coat. Chivalry is not dead for some. I just could never do it any other way. I was raised to be independent. And of course for some of us women it's hard to let the man lead or to be submissive. At some point we learn to let the man. Be the man. To take up the slack for many things and know you need a break from being that alpha female all the time. Nothing at all wrong with letting go of that strong woman you have been all the time. Inspite of being that strong individual I still carried what my parents taught me with me all the time. But, in the end it's OK to hold your man down and to be there for him as well. It's called give and take, compromise and most of all communication. The best to everyone. Stay blessed all.
