Not to burst any bubbles because the true talent and gifts are very real but a bit of this may be live but a lot is not..especially in the vocals..amazingly there may be over twenty added vocal tracks to deeply enhance the vocal performance through production…just mixing them all together to make this magic happen..but the real skill is all there..If you listen to them perform this without backing tracks live it truly is not the same…just a beautiful production!

Remember: These are 3 brothers: The Brothers Gibb, hence the Bee Gees. Started singing at a very early age in the 60's when the twins Robin and Maurice were kids. Barry, the lead singer is the older brother, the only one still alive today. They had a 4th brother younger than the twins who had a short solo career before he passed away at 30. Surely you know the BeeGees if you've heard their hit "Staying Alive". Robin used to be the lead singer in the 60's but with the rise of Disco music, Barry took over with his incredible falsetto sound.

@@stephentaylor6617 - Personally, I disliked much of the "disco" (falsetto) era and ignoring so many of their wonderful songs before and after that era is just depriving people of terrific music. I started listening to them in the 60's, dropped them in the mid 70's and renewed listening to them in the 80's. The "disco" songs were overexposed and pretty much ruined their subsequent career because they were blacklisted and nobody would play their music after that. That was wrong and never done to another band but it is a fact.

Great reaction. For no good reason, I love watching young people freak out at the talent of these three perfect voices. The harmonies are heaven. Barry Gibb defined falsetto. No one does it better. Kings of harmony. Kings of falsetto. Kings of disco. Kings of melody. Kings of song sensuality.
@HopeTruthDaily
@HopeTruthDaily 6 ай бұрын
@LizzieRD I believe Barry was one of the best, but Frankie Valli sang falsetto as lead many years before Barry did. I've seen him live, and he can still sing like he did in the 50s and 60s. With that said, Barry and Frankie are both too darn good for me to say one's falsetto is better than the other's. One thing I find cool about these two is that Barry wrote the song Grease that Frankie Valli sang for the motion picture Grease, and Barry sang backup vocals.

Y'all have such a beautiful daughter!!! Don't know where you live at, but I would babysit that cutie-pie for free...she's adorable. The Bee Gees have tons of songs. They wrote their own songs as well as songs for many, many other singers. They gave all proceeds from this song to UNICEF, in the millions! (And, I think this was the song they did in one take, which is pretty amazing too.) These are 3 brothers, Barry is the oldest in the middle, from left to right, Robin, Barry & Maurice (pronounced Morris or he went by Mo). They are fraternal twins. Mo sadly passed in 2003, Robin passed in 2012. They also had a younger brother, Andy, who passed when he was 30. Barry is still performing & has been married to his wife Linda for over 50 years. Quite incredible in the music industry. They took their families with them whenever they traveled. They also started performing when they were very young. They are definitely one of the best singers of all time, especially the way they harmonize. Robin had a very distinctive singing voice. (I forgotten the term for it but it's a beautiful vibrato.) Mo, he could sing any & everything & play a multitude of instruments. Barry has one of the best falsetto voices around. In their early days he sang in his regular voice. None of them wrote music, only the song lyrics. How Deep is Your Love Wedding Day Love You Inside and Out More Than a Woman Staying Alive You Should Be Dancing To Love Somebody Man in the Middle Night Fever Words Wish You Were Here (I believe this was a tribute to their youngest brother Andy.) Closer Than Close Love So Right Alone Emotion You Win Again Living Eyes Tragedy Fannie Be Tender With My Heart Run to Me Woman in Love - written for Barbara Streisand (Barry wrote & produced all the songs on her Guilty album - 1980. Islands in the Stream - written for Dolly Parton & she has a duet with Kenny Rogers singing it. All the Love in the World & Heartbreaker - written for Dionne Warwick ChainReaction - written for Diana Ross Grease is the Word - written for Frankie Valli for the movie Grease Immortality - written for Celine Dion, & they did backing vocals I Will Be There - written for Tina Turner Just to name a few of their songs, & there are hundreds, maybe thousands if we count all the songs they wrote for other singers too. Others they wrote for are AL Green, Olivia Newton-John, Elton John, Tom Jones, The Gatlin Brothers, Eric Clapton, Michael Buble, Lulu, Janis Joplin, Destiny's Child, Michael Jackson, Elvis Pressley. You cannot ever go wrong listening to the Bee Gees!! (IMO) My hubby, God rest his soul, was a huge fan so we listened to them for most of our 46 years together.

Actually,they did write the music as well...they just didn't read music.And as for the songwriting,over their five decade career,the Gibb brothers wrote over 1000 songs in several genres for themselves and,as you have already noted,a number of other artists.In fact,they were inducted into both the rock and roll and songwriters halls of fame.

The Bee Gees were a musical group formed in 1958 by brothers Barry (in the middle), Robin & Maurice Gibb (Twins). The trio were especially successful in popular music in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later as prominent performers in the disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970s. The group sang recognisable three-part tight harmonies: Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the mid-to-late 1970s and 1980s. The group wrote all their own original material, as well as writing and producing several major hits for other artists, and are regarded as one of the most important and influential acts in pop-music history! They were never Funk, but R&B and Blue Eyed Soul.

Barry and his wife Linda celebrated their golden anniversary 3 or 4 years ago. Mo (Maurice) and twin Robin have died along with youngest brother Andy. Back in the Old Days, records were released on albums and singles 45's. After the recording session they donated all proceeds to UNICEF.

I’m 55 and growing up in the 70’s songs were sung to women. Today they are sung about women and the difference couldn’t be more obvious. I’m now showing my 12 yr old boys what real, pure talent looks like and they are loving it! No auto tune, just pure tight harmonies and incredibly talented brothers. 💫❤️💫🇦🇺

In the course of human history, there’s been beautiful music and unbelievable voices.. and here we are today!!!! young lady has no idea how much beautiful music is has been recorded in the past with real musicians, not cheap tricks with electronics……. it’s so desperately obvious how much today’s youth needs real music

They're doing it WITHOUT AUTOTUNE! 😂 Their earliest songs are my favoritEST ("Words"). Deep dive on them is a GIFT. Lol Thank you both.

I must have watched this video an reactions dozens of times. But for me what make sit is Maurice smiling at his brother Robin at 7:51. Knowing they were creating classic music, as brothers. And now that they are both dead, how they shared that moment.

I was a dj. as this was released and Saturday Night Fever was the LP. This LP was a gold mine in my disco back then. It´s easy to agree with the opinion that there will never be a band like this again. When listening to this my eyes get wet somehow, I call my wife and she says OUR song ! Now after 52yrs of marriage I´m happy we still can recall the memories back in the times we have had and when we were young. Greets from Finland. All the best to you all.

The "Angel Barry" in the middle has a deep voice in normal conversation:) I have watched them from London, England since 1966 and they went through many musical phases notably Disco. The Bee Gees stands for "The Brothers Gibb" with the one in the middle being the oldest and the other 2 Brothers were twins(R.I.P). Their late younger brother: Andy was a good solo singer. If you watch the video of their single "Alone" it shows Home videos of their life including glimpses of them performing on stage@ 8 years old in Australia!
