Not necessarily true; to contrary belief, you know a person from a certain lens. What happens when u enter a relationship with your best friend, and found out that they're terrible lover? The friendship is there & so is the feelings, but are there other essential factors to maintain a relationship there? And when u guys break up, can u remain best friends?
@Annjenkins8065 жыл бұрын
Yes I do beleive you have to be great friends first abd then it can be also romantic at same time.

Thank you for making the statement about marriage being this fixation for some of us. It's sickening, especially for those of us who have seen long lasting marriages, been married and know it's not some magical potion that makes you superior to others. GTFOH! That idea of marriage is unrealistic and will not get you married or keep you married.
@trafficjam.4 жыл бұрын
Pristine Parr its a shame how some ppl have such a negative view about marriage. just because u or sum one u know had a marriage that didnt work out, that doesnt mean the institution of marriage is a joke. ppl pick the wrong ppl to marry, knew it when they got married, and then get a divorce and say marriage sucks. marriage doesnt make u superior, but when done right, it makes a happy home with kids under the same roof and seeing their parents everyday.
@shwetanavani4804 жыл бұрын
I agree. I feel like people think marriage is some sort of guarantee or finish line that once you get it all your problems are solved. That person will be with you forever. Life is sunshine and rainbows. Happy ending there you go 🎁 The truth is the exact opposite. It's all negotiable and nothing is forever. If you go into marriage thinking you're in a fairytale you're going going to be sorely painfully disappointed. Keep your expectations realistic and take off those damn rose colored glasses.

28:35 is so true. I have met many men that have been cheated on. I once was having a conversation with a guy friend about cheating and he was saying how he knows way more women who have been cheated on than men. My response was that's because men are less likely to say they have been cheated on, especially to other men. For every woman he knew who was played I knew a man. Same with abuse. I have met men that have opened up to me about how their girlfriends speak to them or hits them and I've had to be the one to call if for what, verbal/physical abuse. But they sometimes don't see it as that and instead defend the woman "ooh she was upset, etc". It's really sad.
