This situation with Ikechi is dangerous. We don't know what went down between him and Emem, but if he felt violated, he should have communicated that to her. Ikechi doesn't communicate effectively. Say no, but Emem needs to take a hint, too. I think on her end, she's trying to initiate some closeness and he doesn't want to, so he needs to say that. I don't see them getting past this. Emem understandably doesn't know how to move, so she needs to stop moving. Period. Ikechi is all about vibes and just chilling together and whatever other bs he's talking. Ms. Measha you are not being dramatic at all you are 1000% right! Ikechi is inauthentic and got a few sociopathic tendencies with him. Buddy studied and stalked this show. He moved all the way to another state with his Dora the Explorer backpack. He specifically asked for a black wife because he knew that would definitely get him casted. If he were being genuine, he would have told Emem from the honeymoon that he was having a hard time finding the attraction and subsequent connection with her. Instead, he chose to passive aggressively assassinate her character, break her spirit, and pull the "aggression" out of her so he can appear like a victim (and get her back for the cousin beautifully emasculating him). AND I also think Ikechi knows how these podcast streets work, so that even if he gets villianized for a bit, after a while, when it comes to the black women on these shows, eventually public opinion will shift to Emem catching the same smoke that Paige, Kirsten, Raven (LIB) and on and on caught for staying and being "desperate", "aloof", and just plain "silly" enough to stay rather than stand up for themselves and leave these trash men alone.

We saw Emem and Ikechi's situation last season with Becca ( pink hair) and Austin. Becca was the one trying to advance the relationship physically and Austin wasn't having it. Remember at the couples retreat, he FLED the bedroom because Becca "violated his consent". Becca wasn't painted or outright accused of being a predator but poor Emem....There is NO getting past this. Regarding Michelle, I think she fears that she will have to be the financial support for them both. David can say all day that he can move out anytime, but how would she know that he can handle responsibilities if he doesnt have his own roof over his head now? When they are set free, he likely would move into her place & he may not be able to live like she wants to without her $. Maybe he could but she doesnt know that because he is comfortable living up under his parents at 36. Who's to say he wouldnt be just as comfortable living off of her too? Thats the fear and turnoff.

Last night was my first night watching this Chicago MAFS. I was disturbed by Ikechi’s behavior. Yes! he was being passive aggressive but something else didn’t sit right with my Spirir. This morning when I woke up the bulb went on. I immediately knew what I saw in Ikechi. Look at his face, demeanor, how he behaves carefully. Ikechi’s letters are written to the wrong person.
